On August 29, we completed this Megumi Kato Cosplay outdoor casual shoot at Chaoyang Park. The outfit draws on her iconic look: a plush white beret over shoulder-length dark brown hair, a vibrant red knit cardigan over a ruffled white shirt with a slim black ribbon tie, a layered white pleated skirt, white lace over-the-knee socks, and black chunky Mary Jane heels. A wooden ukulele prop brought out her subtle, everyday slice-of-life charm.

The shoot transitioned from daytime sunlight along white stone railings to a moody evening on waterside lawns as city lights flickered across the surface. Shot on a Fujifilm X-H2 with the XF 56mm F1.2 R WR II and XF 16-55mm F2.8 lenses, the prime's wide aperture yielded silky bokeh that isolated the crimson cardigan against the cool nighttime palette. Balanced lighting avoided blown-out highlights on the White tights cosplay while preserving knit and fabric textures.
