[Phrolova cosplay] Wuthering Waves white dress and violin, which convention photo color grading creates a better atmosphere?

Regarding the color grading of this set of Wuthering Waves Phrolova white dress convention photos, I really wrestled back and forth with it for a long time. The cool tone appears detached and proud, carrying a strong visual impact; while the warm tone adds a bit of a gentle breathing feel, making the skin tone look more translucent. Having simply put out versions with different color tones for comparison, it has instead become even harder to choose.

COSplaying Phronu this time, the details on the costume and styling were simply too numerous. Let's talk about the wig first: the mint-green base color paired with the pink-purple highlights at the hair ends required repeated combing to present an arc that naturally fits the head shape. That coral-like red headpiece on top of the head is the absolute visual center of gravity of the entire styling, with a complex shape and a non-negligible volume. The transparent lace choker around the neck, along with the translucent layered puff sleeves, produced a very special material reflection under the lighting of the anime convention venue. The red flowers dotted on the chest formed a perfect color echo with the red headpiece on the head.

The red-brown violin in my hand is an important compositional element. To make the posture of holding the bow look less stiff, we adjusted the placement angle of the arms many times; the wrist needed to be relaxed, yet unable to lose a sense of control. To maximize the display of the layers in the dress hem and the subtle patterns on the leg lace pantyhose, I chose to sit on a black square backless stool. The crossed-leg sitting posture not only elongates the leg lines but also allows that pair of red ultra-high platform chunky high heels on my feet to become the visual anchor of the frame. The white flower decoration and orange-red straps at the ankle of the shoes are unified with the color scheme of the entire outfit.

The shooting environment this time took place in an industrial-style exhibition hall featuring metal truss structures, where cool-white industrial lighting and gray-black reflective floors formed a very rugged cyberpunk background. This rugged environment created a huge contrast with Phrolova's own soft and beautiful temperament. During color grading, the version leaning toward a cool tone can strengthen the detachment and alienation of the frame, better highlighting the character's slightly melancholic gaze and sense of fragility; whereas the version leaning toward a warm tone softens the iciness of the environment, making the texture of the white dress look softer and more marshmallow-like.

To capture light from different angles, the entire shooting process was quite a test of physical stamina. Stepping on these ultra-high platform high heels while constantly adjusting the sitting posture and simultaneously managing the grip on the violin prop indeed required some core strength. When shooting a character with such a melancholic temperament, the grasp of the gaze is crucial—it shouldn't be too aggressive, nor should it appear hollow; it needs to maintain a subtle sense of distance. The nickname Phronu itself carries a contradictory trait of being soft and marshmallow-like yet impossible to approach easily.

I actually like both versions of the color tones; the emotions conveyed by the different tones are completely different. I wonder which color tone everyone thinks can better fit the atmosphere this set of convention photos aims to express?
