For this Hyacinthia cosplay, the overall styling uses a pink-to-blue gradient twin-tail wig, wearing a red, white, and blue striped uniform cap on top of the head, paired with bright blue contact lenses. The overall makeup goes down a cute and sweet route. The outer white knitted cardigan features red and blue geometric patterns, paired with an inner red top and a blue bow tie, and the lower body consists of white shorts, matched with white tights and patent leather loafers. This color collision appears very clean and crisp in front of the lens.
The props were prepared very meticulously. The white plush doll held in hand features blue wings and a small crown, representing the Honkai: Star Rail White Rabbit collaboration styling, along with the corresponding acrylic standee. When shooting in the classroom, the sunlight happened to shine through the window onto the wooden floor. I stood among the desks and practiced a few poses, extending one hand forward or standing on one leg, wanting to capture that lively and playful moment in the classroom after school. When the camera focused on the face, the blackboard still had chalk-drawn hearts and doodle sketches left on it, which matched the overall atmosphere exceptionally well.
Later, I changed to a sitting posture on the ground, sitting down with legs slightly bent, resting my chin on my hands and looking at the lens. While shooting this set of photos, I adjusted the lighting angle and prop placement for a long time, because I wanted to make good use of the natural light in the classroom to make the texture of the white stockings and patent leather shoes more prominent. To match the theme of the White Rabbit collaboration, I also held a candy prop in my mouth, sitting in front of the desk with both fists supporting my face, capturing a picture with a stronger sense of interaction.
As a coser, preparing a complete set of attire every time takes quite a lot of thought. From styling and trimming the wig to smoothing the costume and gathering the props, I try my best to fit the original design specifications. Choosing to shoot in a daily scene like a classroom this time was precisely to make the overall frame closer to the character's setting, presenting a campus sweet girl vibe. The entire shooting process went quite smoothly, and I really like the atmosphere exuded by these photos. I hope everyone can also feel this relaxed style.
