[White Rabbit cosplay] The Radiance of the Goddess of Victory: A Black and Gold Chinese Style Interpretation

This shoot features White Rabbit from Goddess of Victory, wearing a black and gold battle dress infused with Chinese style elements. The white ruffles at the neckline and cuffs form a stark contrast with the overall black and gold base color. The gold foil patterns on the chest and the subtle textures on the sleeves are highly sophisticated; you can clearly feel the heavy-crafted quality of the fabric when wearing it. To recreate the character's lightweight yet dashing temperament, the makeup intentionally emphasizes the amber eyes and highlights to give the gaze a more penetrating power. The double-bun structure of the wig required repeated adjustments of the angle, paired with braided knots to ensure it wouldn't look messy under the lens.

During the shoot, a minimalist pure white circular platform scene was chosen, aiming to concentrate the visual focus entirely on the silhouette and lines of the costume, preventing the background from overshadowing the subject. The sheen of the black stockings under the studio lights naturally outlines the contours of the leg muscles, so the sitting posture required controlling the slight bending angles of the knees and ankles, remaining relaxed yet maintaining tension for this Stocking outfit. The sleeves of this outfit are detachable shawls, creating different flowing effects when raising and lowering the arms; it took about a dozen tries to capture a natural resting state for the arms.

Many details are hard to fully display in flat photos, such as the gold-stamped subtle floral patterns inside the cuffs and the pleating at the waist; you can only truly appreciate the cleverness of the design when wearing it. From wig styling to putting on and taking off the costume, the whole process took about two and a half hours, but seeing those clean and sharp lines in the final photos made all the effort feel completely worth it. I hope to convey this slightly luxurious and cool character temperament through this Studio portrait session.
