When capturing this photo set, we relied on Sony photography with a Sony A7M5 paired with a Tamron 35-100mm lens, a combination whose color resolution and rendering for portraiture proved exceptionally outstanding. That afternoon at Baixi Park, the light shifted rapidly; to capture the shimmering halo glowing along the strands of hair in the backlight, we continuously adjusted the camera's exposure compensation, taking advantage of the Tamron's wide aperture for creamy bokeh to soften background greenery and distant architecture into delicate, dreamy orbs of light. It was also my first time scouting and shooting along an elevated walkway featuring metal railings and geometric arched colonnades, creating a striking visual contrast between the cold rigidity of metal and the soft gentleness of young maidens. To complement this Japanese fresh style theme, I deliberately selected a light blue dress styled with a sheer white overlay shirt, while my partner wore a pure white dress, accented on our feet with lace-trimmed white socks and chunky platform Mary Janes. This combination not only appeared remarkably luminous and translucent in the backlight, but also flattered leg lines gracefully, channeling a manga-like, youthful maiden aesthetic. For posing, we experimented with holding hands while turning our backs to the camera and looking back over our shoulders. This motion heavily tested our mutual chemistry, as we had to gauge the photographer's camera angle accurately while preserving our body curves and the swaying rhythm of our skirts. When shooting solo close-ups, I stepped into the arched walkway tunnel, utilizing foreground and background framing elements; tilting my head slightly or folding my hands gently in front naturally showcased the serene tranquility of a young maiden. The emotional tone of the entire photoshoot was relaxed and natural; because the skirts were lightweight, strolling around during candid captures easily evoked an airy, flowing cadence. This style doesn't require heavy makeup—just a clean, glowing base to preserve vibrant, youthful freshness, capturing the essence of a Healing girl. The overall experience of this shoot was wonderful, giving me a profound appreciation for how crucial selecting the right location and lighting is for quality shots, and I look forward to capturing more photos infused with this kind of breathing vitality in the future.
