Choosing this color scheme is because the contrast of dark blue and pure white appears very clean under the lens, carrying a natural Japanese fresh style atmosphere. The costume details are very rich; the top is a dark blue dress paired with a white apron. White lace trims are sewn along the edges of the puff sleeves and the neckline. To avoid visual monotony, the waist features a white strap design, and the bow at the back adds some layering. I tried several different poses on the floor, on the windowsill, and on the table next to it. For example, sitting on the floor with legs crossed, or kneeling on the floor looking back, can showcase the lines of the skirt hem and the long stockings. When sitting by the windowsill supporting the cheek with one hand, the side backlight of natural light forms a faint contour light on the edge of the hair. The most satisfying one is the shot sitting on the tabletop with legs crossed; the wooden tabletop and white chair form a great contrast, and the texture of the long stockings is very clear under the light. A white plush bear was also placed next to it as a prop, adding a bit of living atmosphere. I also tried making a wink expression towards the lens, combined with a slightly lower camera angle, presenting a relaxed feeling.
From a professional shooting perspective, when using natural light shooting, one must constantly pay attention to the transition of facial shadows. I will continuously adjust the facial angle according to the direction of the light, making the facial features three-dimensional while avoiding rigid shadows. For clothing containing a large number of lace and ruffle elements, avoiding excessive highlights is also very important; exposure needs to be controlled well to retain the original texture of the fabric. Although the blue of this outfit is relatively dark, against the background of white, it does not look dull, but instead carries a quiet temperament. Every time the posture is adjusted, the wrinkles of the skirt hem and the arc of the lace will present differently, which is also a very interesting aspect of this clothing during shooting.
