Integrating the refreshing color of matcha green into the character's presentation—this is perhaps the very charm of \"Matcha Sweetheart Daji\". The bright yellow short hair on my head looks incredibly vibrant under the camera, and paired with that soft, fluffy pair of animal ears, it forms the most agile visual focus of the entire look. The mint green and pure white interweave on the costume, ranging from the ruffles at the collar to the multi-layered skirt hem, each layer carrying a light, fluffy airiness. The unique white pointed design at the cuffs, along with the red gemstone embellishment on the chest, not only breaks the monotony of a single color but also adds a touch of exquisiteness to the overall sweet style. Meanwhile, the platform mint-green lace-up shoes, coordinated with pure white mid-calf socks, beautifully pull the visual focus to the leg lines, making the poses look lively and playfully cute when turning around or lifting a leg.
I absolutely must mention that huge green curly prop. When I first saw the actual item, its sheer size indeed surprised me a bit. During the shoot, this prop carried quite some weight. To make it look as if it possessed a lightweight vitality and flexibility in the photos, the staff and I repeatedly adjusted its positioning. Later, I simply sat down, leaving it by my side or leaning halfway against it, keeping the overall composition balanced without looking stiff. The small round table draped in lace tablecloth was topped with delicate strawberry cakes and tea sets, while the hanging crystal candelabras and classic golden Roman pillars instantly gave the flat photos a three-dimensional fairy-tale cottage atmosphere.
The reflective floor at this shooting location was a truly brilliant design. To capture my reflection clearly, we had to repeatedly ensure that the floor was completely free of dust and wrinkles. When the final images presented not only the physical subject but also the visually displaced reflection below, the overall depth of the frame was significantly enhanced. Looking through the viewfinder at myself standing on the mirror-like surface, complemented by the giant yellow star hanging behind me, that fusion of softness and dreaminess made me feel completely immersed in this beautifully constructed fantasy space during the studio photo shoot.
In terms of makeup, Master Yuchen's control over colors was incredibly precise. The eye makeup formed a subtle echo with the mint green outfit and props, retaining the depth of my eyes without letting the entire face be overwhelmed by green. The hair was styled to look naturally fluffy with the perfect fringe length, showing no stiffness even under intense lighting. Master Ayuan's post-production color grading was exceptionally gentle, neutralizing the originally harsh light into a soft, refreshing daytime glow, giving the final cuts a soothing, healing filter effect.
Actually, every cosplay is a brand-new self-exploration. Interpreting this character through the theme of \"Matcha Sweetheart\" is an attempt to convey a soothing sense of healing, akin to taking a bite of cool matcha ice cream that melts away life's tedious worries. Most of the time, in our busy lives, we need a touch of sweetness and something soft to soothe our emotions. Through this styling, I hope to share this freshness and joy with everyone, rather than just reproducing a character from an anime or game. Photography, props, makeup, styling, and location—all elements worked in perfect harmony to ultimately bring this work to life. I'm deeply grateful to all the staff who put their efforts into this shoot. Throughout the process, I was completely immersed in the wonderful aura brought by the character, preserving these precious moments forever as a healing girl in this green-themed cosplay.
