The Wandering Dragon Violet Splendor costume newly arrived from Miaowu Cosplay, and as soon as I unpacked it, I immediately did a Cosplay fitting. This Xishi cosplay outfit has substantial weight in hand, and putting it on and taking it off was quite smooth. I am 160 cm tall and weigh 46 kg, and chose size S; once on, the size was just right. The bodice corset tailoring fits my figure snugly with a beautifully cinched waistline—neither feeling constricting nor causing any gaping or bunching of fabric.

Starting with the colors, the violet-and-blue gradient transition across the garment is handled wonderfully, with just the right saturation, looking far more refined and textured than many similar versions on the market. The golden ring ornament at the chest and the tassels underneath have solid craftsmanship, avoiding any flimsy plastic feel. Sheer tulle connects at the neck and shoulders, while the purple arm sleeves extend into wide, semi-sheer white sleeves with graceful drape that flutter airily during movement.

The skirt section was my biggest surprise: this set features no pannier at all. I was initially worried that lacking a petticoat might make it collapse flat, but putting it on revealed that the skirt's tailoring and the fabric's inherent stiffness support the silhouette perfectly. Paired with the blue-and-white tulle at the waist, purple drapery, and golden trailing ribbons, the layered dimension is remarkably rich. The cyan and bluish-purple swirl patterns across the skirt surface are crisp without blurry print flaws; as I walk, the train drapes naturally, visually elongating my proportions.

The violet vine patterns on the leg Stockings harmonize seamlessly with the garment's purple tones, offering ample elasticity without feeling tight during movement. I paired it with transparent block-heeled sandals to make the overall palette appear even fresher. Since the tags aren't cut yet, I snapped a few mirror selfies for this Cosplay fitting first. This outfit is quite forgiving for curvy or petite girls; the S size hemline falls around mid-thigh on me, and omitting a pannier actually gives it a more casual, lightweight feel.

Detail-wise, the neckpiece and chest pendant adornments are neatly symmetrical without any tilting. The scale-like mesh tulle at the hips and the golden piping along the edges are meticulously stitched with minimal loose threads. Overall from this Cosplay fitting, Miaowu Cosplay's tailoring here is genuinely well-developed, allowing you to shoot right away without major alterations. Once the wig, makeup, and props are styled later on, the visual impact of this Wandering Dragon Violet Splendor Xishi cosplay will look even more spectacular.
