[Diaochan cosplay] Honor of Kings default skin Diaochan, showcasing pink-white gradient skirt hem and printed white stockings

Bringing you the Honor of Kings default skin Diaochan cosplay. The core visual focus of this styling lies in an ethereal, lightweight, and neat vibe, so during the costume preparation stage, I put a lot of thought into pondering the materials and tailoring. The upper garment adopts white as the main body with the hem graduating to pink. To restore the multi-layered petal feel in the game, the skirt is sewn with a total of four layers of tulle of different thicknesses. The outermost organza is responsible for supporting the crisp silhouette, while the inner soft mesh tulle is used to create a light and graceful drape. When walking and posing, the layers of the tulle skirt naturally spread out, perfectly matching the character's lively temperament.

The cyan-green gemstone on the chest is the visual center of the entire costume. The surrounding gold metal pieces were specially treated with a slightly distressed matte finish, making them less prone to cheap highlight reflections when lit. The stiff white high collar on the neck, matched with the diamond-shaped purple gemstone, further elongates the visual lines of the neck. The gold arm rings on the arms, combined with wide bell sleeves, can maximally showcase the gradient pink at the edge of the sleeves when raising the hands. To perfectly match this outfit, for the lower body, I chose white pantyhose printed with dark gray geometric lines. These printed white stockings do not steal the spotlight from the skirt hem while increasing the richness of the leg details. Paired with purple-and-gold color-blocked platform chunky heels, the overall proportions are nicely stretched.

The head styling is also a key focus of this shoot. Because the default skin's headpiece is very bulky and its center of gravity easily shifts, when wearing the gold starlight hair accessory and pink tassels, I used many invisible bobby pins for cross-fixing to ensure the accessories remain stable when turning the head or when there is wind. The fluffiness of the hair strands was also repeatedly adjusted to present the brown long hair in a naturally fluttering state. In terms of makeup, I chose purple contact lenses to match the overall tone, applied pinkish-purple eyeshadow around the eyes, and pasted a blue rhinestone forehead decoration in the center of the forehead, trying to make the facial features appear more three-dimensional and exquisite in front of the lens.

When shooting this set of photos, to best showcase the leg lines and the overall structure of this costume, I chose to sit on a white cylindrical prop. This height allowed me to naturally extend my legs diagonally, utilizing the direction of light and shadow to highlight the line patterns on the stockings and the heaviness of the shoes. My upper body was slightly inclined to the side, one hand lifted upwards and the other extended outwards, trying to give the wide sleeves and long ribbons room to extend within the frame. The photographer added soft lighting from the front, and used light pink for the background, making the overall tone of the frame very unified.

The overall shooting experience is that the default skin's design looks simple, but it actually tests the garment's pattern and its modification of body lines. To support this outfit, posture and movements need to be kept as upright and lightweight as possible. In the photos, you can see that the gradient transition of the skirt hem is very natural, and the arc of the ribbons in mid-air achieved the effect I expected. From the metallic texture of the headpiece to the tulle texture of the skirt hem, and the presentation of the leg patterns, every detail was well restored in front of the lens. Being able to replicate such a classic design in a physical way and record these images has been a very fulfilling experience. I hope everyone can feel the exquisite nature of this styling itself.
