The difficulty of wearing this outfit really exceeded my expectations. After finishing the first set yesterday and changing into Baobhan Sith's high-detail cosplay today, I realized what a true challenge is. Just the cross straps and hidden snaps on the back took me nearly twenty minutes alone in the fitting room. Those small white jagged squares and the strap design on the chest would look out of proportion if the position was slightly off, so I had to repeatedly adjust them in front of the mirror. To fit Tam-lin Tristan's cold yet slightly morbid feeling, I also made many attempts with the makeup this time. The base makeup was made very white, and the eye makeup is the core of the entire makeup look. After laying down a large area of purple-red eyeshadow, black was used to deepen the eye sockets and outer corners of the eyes, paired with grayish-white contact lenses to highlight an unhuman feeling. To increase drama, black tear marks extending downwards were drawn on both sides of the cheeks; the lines had to be drawn in one stroke, and a slight pause would make it look messy. The wig is vibrant red, and long straight hair is extremely troublesome to groom; several layers of setting spray were sprayed to barely hold down the flying stray hairs. The complexity of the clothing itself is extremely high. The huge black-and-red alternating ruffles are the visual center of the entire outfit, but they take up a lot of space; sitting down and turning around must be done with extreme care, fearing of crushing the pleats. The white straps at the shoulders and collarbone need to be tied with moderate tightness; too tight leaves red marks, and too loose easily slips off. The high-detail cosplay fabric is very heavy when worn, and combined with the huge hair ornaments, the center of gravity of the whole person shifts upward, putting a lot of pressure on the neck. Walking to the photography area, the background arrangement was quite elaborate. The red velvet curtain, pure white dead branch props, and those crystal candleholders exuding a purple-pink halo matched together with the color tone of the clothes, bringing out the atmosphere instantly. Due to too many details in this outfit, the requirements for light and angle during shooting were very high. The lighting used strong magenta and purple-blue, hitting the white lace and fabric to present an eerie dreamy feeling. The photographer was adjusting parameters on the camera screen, and I casually took a few photos of the screen; the color contrast in the preview image was extremely strong. During the shooting process, the emotion had to be maintained in a cold, slightly unhinged state, and the gaze shouldn't be too soft. When holding long props, the wrist posture also had to be tense, and it had to coordinate with the pearl chains and those bone decorations in the background to find the center of gravity of the frame. When I saw the final photos on the camera screen, the breakdown and fatigue from wearing it earlier all dissipated. The gorgeousness brought by that complicated layering was completely captured through the lens, truly a tension that cannot be experienced when wearing light clothes normally. The details and texture of this outfit are really suitable for slowly polishing in studio photography with exaggerated light and shadow.
