[BB cosplay] Fate/Grand Order (FGO) white nurse outfit and long purple hair

The shooting plan this time was to shoot a nurse-themed cosplay work of BB from Fate/Grand Order (FGO). After receiving this costume, I first sorted out the styling of the purple hair wig. Because BB's character has very iconic blunt bangs and long straight hair, I trimmed the bangs to a length just past the eyebrows and gave the hair ends a smooth treatment to make the wig look natural and fit the scalp. The pink cross pattern on the nurse cap was custom-made separately, and I fixed it onto the wig to ensure it wouldn't easily slip off during the shoot.

The costume part has many details that need to be controlled. The front of the short-sleeved white nurse uniform features a deep-V neckline design. To match this cut, I wore an invisible adhesive bra underneath and adjusted the fit of the costume to avoid any gaping or wardrobe malfunctions. The white metal-buckle choker on the neck is a highlight of this styling; I adjusted the choker to a tightness where just one finger could fit inside, ensuring no red marks while perfectly fitting the neck contour. I also carefully checked the smoothness of the Velcro on the wide white wristbands on my arms. The white over-the-knee stockings on the lower body were paired with suspenders featuring pink cross clips. When wearing them, the length of the suspenders needed to be adjusted to the golden ratio position of the legs, so that when walking or sitting down, the stockings and suspenders could exhibit natural tension without appearing baggy.

The scene layout on the day of the shoot used a pure light purple background paper. This color forms a monochromatic echo with the purple wig while accentuating the clean and pure feel of the white uniform. In addition to the main light, the lighting technician added two side lights to ensure the shadows around the deep-V neckline wouldn't look too harsh, while making the luster on the white stockings more uniform.

During the shooting process, I tried various poses to showcase the personality traits of the character BB. For the first set of poses, I chose a standing forward-leaning posture, making a peace sign with one hand while extending the other hand to the side; this posture allows the hem of the white coat to flutter slightly, revealing a bit of the leg line and making it look lively and playful with a touch of little-devil charm. For the second set of poses, I picked up the glasses, bit them in my mouth, and gazed to the side, creating a lazy yet slightly provocative atmosphere. To showcase the details of the legs and stockings, I sat on a white cylindrical pedestal base with my legs crossed. Because the material of the white stockings is relatively thin, the crossed-leg posture nicely displays the contours of the leg muscles and the texture of the stockings. Finally, I sat on a black high stool holding the removed glasses in my hand, an action that added a sense of intellectuality and calmness to the overall frame.

Throughout the entire shoot, I believe the fit between the nurse outfit and the character BB is extremely high. The white uniform combined with the deep-V cut visually forms an elegant yet sexy contrast. Through the changes of putting on and taking off the glasses, the emotions of the photos can also have richer layers. The grasp of the costume details and the texture of the white stockings in this shoot achieved my expected results, and I hope this set of cosplay photos featuring long purple hair and white nurse elements can present the charm the character deserves.
