The blessing for late-stage procrastination patients is occasionally flipping through the photo album, and I've finally organized the photos from that Delicious in Dungeon pop-up check-in from over a month ago. Back then, I went purely for that highly memetic "iron pot stew" section; after all, as a character fan, being able to experience the famous scene of the character being stewed in a pot at an offline event—this immersive sense of restoration really hit the spot for me. That day I actually left the house very early. To guarantee the quality of the photos, I specially booked a very familiar makeup artist to handle it. After she knew I was going to do Falin, she did special trimming and styling on this light golden short wig to make it look like it had its original lightweight texture. A lot of effort was also poured into the base makeup; to match the character's skin tone and traits, she did specific brightening and detail processing, and the resulting effect truly kept me happy all day long. This is my little cosplay makeup artist sharing for you all.

For the live mall pop-up check-in section in Figures 1 to 4, I intentionally chose a relatively casual everyday T-shirt and wide-leg pants, paired with those white thick-soled sneakers and a plush stuffed toy bag, anchoring a relaxed and casual vibe. The paper standees and uniquely shaped pot props arranged in the pop-up zone had a great flavor of that setting. Sitting in that "iron pot" scene was actually quite fun; because of the height difference of the venue and the placement angle of the props, I needed to adjust my body posture in coordination with the photographer's directions. Although the wide-angle shots taken back then shrank the figure a bit, they conversely highlighted the restoration level of the entire scene, making it visually very open. For this kind of mall pop-up with a certain degree of scene complexity, it heavily tests the coser's sense of interaction and emotional investment on site. My condition that day was great, so the whole shooting process was relatively efficient.

After checking in at the pop-up area, taking advantage of the great skin condition and the still-intact makeup that day, I immediately migrated to shoot the custom-styled photoset I had prepared beforehand. This look in Figure 5 is quite different from the casual style earlier; I changed into a pure white lace dress, adding a neckpiece layered with red beads and pearls, along with matching headwear. This step was actually my personal attempt at a "creative reinterpretation," wanting to try a slightly different gorgeous style while restoring the core tone of the character. The makeup also underwent some corresponding fine-tuning, thickening the eye makeup contour a bit to make the gaze sharper yet maintaining that specific clarity. The angle of the light happened to refract on the necklace around my neck, lifting my global texture by a lot. Every attempt to combine the original setting with personal understanding can spark new sparks, and looking at the final finished photos of the day, I feel this kind of attempt is highly meaningful.

The process of doing cosplay is actually not just about changing into a set of clothes and a wig, but a process of getting closer to and understanding a character through an external form. Every offline event check-in and photoset shoot will yield a completely different chemical reaction due to the environment, light, styling, and emotions at that time. This experience counts as one of the happier ones recently; although procrastination played its part, finally posting the photos to look back and reminisce leaves me feeling quite satisfied.
