The offline event for the Firefly Project has finally come to a successful conclusion. Running through the entire process from setting up to dismantling the exhibition was tiring, but it was incredibly joyful to meet everyone in real life.
The freebies I prepared in advance—specifically the small badges and cards I'm holding in the photos—were originally estimated to be enough. However, the enthusiastic friends at the venue were far more than imagined, and they were completely handed out just as afternoon hit. Seeing the friends who arrived later looking a bit disappointed made me feel incredibly bad. Next time I participate in a similar offline event, I will definitely prepare double the amount to ensure everyone gets one.
This time, I specially chose a cosplay outfit suitable for offline interaction. For the color scheme, I used a gradient wig from light gold to mint green, paired with off-white puff sleeves and a light green lace blouse. It was convenient to move around in without being too extravagant, and it blended beautifully with the pink and purple tones of the background when taking photos in front of the display boards. For makeup, I used a purple eyeshadow palette to echo the eye color, and applied the blush quite lightly; since the on-site lighting leaned soft, heavy makeup could easily look messy, so keeping the overall look clean and translucent was most important.
During the shoot, I truly have to thank photographer C-kun, who very patiently guided the poses and lighting angles. From the half-body close-up in front of the display board to the interactive snapshots in front of the signature wall, and finally to the full-body composition in a kneeling pose, every single shot captured a state I am satisfied with. Especially that close-up photo of me holding a notebook, which perfectly combined the prop with the character's expression, and I personally love it very much.
The message wall at the venue was truly full of atmosphere, covered with everyone's various blessings and dates, and I couldn't help but leave a signature in a blank space after finishing the shoot. This feeling of everyone gathering together to celebrate the same passion can only be truly felt through personal experience. In the future, given the opportunity, I will definitely participate more in these types of offline projects, continue to carefully prepare more fun merchandise, and look forward to meeting more old and new friends next time.
