Although I missed out on getting entry tickets for the BanG Dream! cafe, which made my heart sink a bit, I still happily dressed up as Kokoro yesterday and went to experience the enthusiastic atmosphere at the Offline event. I prepared pretty thoroughly this time, putting a lot of thought into everything from picking and trimming the wig to trying out different makeup styles. I spent a long time choosing the golden hair color, wanting a shade that looks bright and eye-catching under sunlight without looking unnatural. The bangs were intentionally cut a bit thicker to match the wavy texture underneath, recreating Kokoro's fluffy and energetic feel. For eye makeup, I used light amber contact lenses and chose orange-pink eye shadow, paired with subtle glitters under the eyes and a touch of hangover-style blush to give the overall look a softer, playfully cute touch.

For the outfit, I chose a refreshing blue-and-white plaid shirt paired with vintage-style brown overall shorts. Though not overly complex, this look was very photogenic while walking around the mall—especially the fluffy bear-ear headband, which added a ton of cuteness to selfies. Walking around the venue yesterday, I was constantly recognized by fellow fans; moments when people came over to say hi and take photos really gave me that heartwarming feeling of my character recreation being validated. Meeting a super cute younger girl who handed me handmade freebies was an indescribably joyful moment. Meeting such pure-hearted fans at an Offline event and feeling everyone's shared passion for the same franchise is truly the core charm of these events.

Although it was a bit disappointing not being able to enter the cafe's inner venue, fortunately, the Anime convention merchandise shopping zone was enough to give me a massive haul. I scored several cute plushies this time—yellow smiley ones, light purple ones, and reddish-brown ones—all beautifully stitched and super soft to hold. When taking the merchandise group photo, I specifically arranged them packed tightly inside my bag; that feeling of satisfaction truly healed the disappointment of not getting a ticket. My pockets and bag were completely stuffed with these little guys, making me look like a walking plushie display. The overall shorts' fabric has a good structure, holding its silhouette nicely in photos without looking limp. Combined with the lightweight plaid shirt, it didn't feel stuffy inside the mall and was very easy to move around in.

Sorting through my haul after getting home yesterday, my heart was still overflowing with satisfaction. Doing Anime cosplay isn't just about taking pretty photos; it's about wearing the outfit, carrying love for the character, and immersing oneself in her world and the community that loves her. Even without experiencing the full event content, this Offline event trip filled me with renewed motivation. For styling details, like the position of the metal buckles on the overall shorts or the hem of the plaid shirt, I tried my best to recreate her lively and vibrant image from memory. The ambient lighting at the venue was wonderful, with warm tones shining on the hair and plush ears, creating a cozy sense of community.

Besides the big plushies, my favorite items from this Anime convention merchandise haul are several small badges and acrylic keychains that can be hung on bags. I plan to attach them all to my daily bag so I can carry this happiness into everyday life. Being able to connect with a beloved character in this way is truly a unique romance for anime enthusiasts. Every time I look down and see my bag covered in these little items, my smile naturally brightens. The charm of an Offline event lies precisely in these tangible interactions and reachable surprises. Returning home loaded with passion and loot feels incredibly fulfilling.
