This shoot features Asuma Toki cosplay from Blue Archive, wearing a tactical maid outfit with a futuristic tech vibe. The overall color scheme is white, black, and blue. The halo device on my head was handmade with LED beads installed inside; when it lights up, the blue glow perfectly matches the character's temperament. The weapon prop was cut and assembled from foam board and PVC pipes, spray-painted with matte white paint, and I specifically did color separation and panel lining for a better effect. For the makeup, I focused on highlighting the character's eye color by wearing light blue colored contacts, which echoes the hair color and the blue elements on the costume. The pure white background of the shadowless studio has high lighting requirements; the subject shouldn't lose details to the light, and white clothes and white socks are easily overexposed, so we were constantly adjusting the angles of the light sources on site. During the shoot, I chose some dynamic poses, such as standing on one foot or aiming with the gun, to reflect her combat attributes. At the same time, there are also a few static sitting poses to showcase the details and layering of the outfit itself. The styling and props took over a month to prepare. The tailor and prop maker were both very dedicated, and I hope everyone can feel the care put into this Cosplay work. This has been a truly rewarding experience for this piece of Anime-style photography.
