Today, I'm sharing this Denia look from Wuthering Waves. Let's begin with how the wig was handled: this Pink wig features a gradient transition ending in pale blue at the tips. To give the fibers dimension before the lens, I cut it in tiered layers, curling it gently with a curling iron and texturing it with hair wax for airy volume. The ahoge on the crown and wisps framing the face required delicate feathering, while securing the white bow and the black figure hair clip demanded plenty of hairspray and bobby pins to keep them rock-solid during shooting. For makeup, the focus was all on eye definition. Wearing icy-blue contact lenses, I blended soft pink eyeshadow and elongated both the eyeliner and lashes to enlarge the eyes. The porcelain-toned base was complemented by prominent pink blush to keep facial contours sculpted under key lights, completed with a classic red lip that dialogues with the crimson gloves.

The wardrobe structure is remarkably intricate. The neckline integrates black crisscross strappings, golden chain embellishments, and a blue gemstone pendant at the chest. The sleeves are voluminous pink flares lined with gold jacquard patterns and finished with white plush trim cuffs. To mirror the official art, I slipped into bright crimson gloves stamped with gold motifs on the backs. A black plush mascot charm with blue patterns dangles from the waist. The layered design demands immense patience to align each detail—the fur cuffs and long chains tangle easily between takes. The choker must be adjusted snug yet comfortable, ensuring the chest chains hang naturally without twisting, while the oversized bell sleeves require arm support to project that airy, flowing drape.

I shot against a solid black backdrop with frontal high-key lighting to isolate the subject and amplify garment color contrast. The pink hair, blue eyes, red gloves, and white dress pop vividly against the black void. To enhance catchlights in the eyes, I placed a softbox slightly off-center and filled shadows with a white reflector on the opposite side. Pose choreography explored expressive hand gestures: raising both hands with gently curved fingers while smiling into the lens brought out a playful spirit, whereas gathering my hands near the chest with a slight side glance evoked quiet, introverted poise. The signature pose placed a red-gloved index finger across the lips in a shushing gesture, casting a downward glance to summon mystique. Because crimson gloves draw immediate visual focus, hand placement and wrist angles had to be meticulously measured so as not to overpower the face.

With so many accessories, especially the choker and chains, I had to ensure nothing flipped backward or obscured facial planes. The expansive sleeves also required fine-tuning arm angles to prevent bulkiness. Under the key lights, the fabrics revealed delicate nuances: white satin and pink luster cloth offered distinct reflective properties. The greatest creative challenge was marrying futuristic sci-fi techwear elements with cute, graceful charm. Geometric headpieces and metallic chains conveyed rigid machinery, softened by the pink locks and billowy sleeves. In posture, I kept my limbs relaxed, using subtle wrist and finger flexes to convey narrative nuances. Post-processing preserved clean, luminous skin tones and original garment hues, slightly dropping the background luminance for striking contrast. Every bit of prep across makeup, hair, and lighting came together, and I hope you all love this piece.
