This Lolita dress from Classical Puppets is truly perfect for an outdoor shoot. To complement this farm companion theme, I specially coordinated a matching blue-and-white plaid lace bonnet and styled my hair in twin braids, creating a highly cohesive look.
For the styling details, I chose white floral-patterned Lace stockings for the bottom. Since the outdoor location had gravel ground, maintaining balance required extra attention during the shoot—especially while walking back and forth carrying a wooden crate filled with vegetables.
The shooting location was set in a courtyard featuring a white wooden cabin and lush greenery. For props, we prepared a vibrant assortment of high-saturation vegetables, such as orange pumpkins, Chinese cabbage, green peppers, and white radishes. These vivid hues created a striking contrast against the soft light blue dress, infusing the frames with vibrant life.
An interesting part of the process was experimenting with dynamic candid shots. For instance, tossing vegetables into the air while making surprised or playful expressions captured plenty of spontaneous moments. Poses like holding up produce with one hand, carrying the wooden crate at my side, or sitting on a white bench looking down to arrange vegetables were all meant to convey the cozy ease of farm life. This photo set didn't rely on complex plotlines; rather, it used the farm setting and props to showcase the versatile charm of Lolita fashion in everyday, down-to-earth scenes.

Although this dress features multiple layers, the fabric isn't overly heavy, offering ample breathability for an outdoor shoot.
