Direct lighting in the fitting room perfectly reflected the polarized dark purple shimmer of this outfit. From hanging it up to actually wearing and adjusting it into camera-ready shape, it took me nearly half an hour. The most prominent feature of this costume is its shattered yet magnificent structure, especially the large black-and-white paneling area across the chest, where the central bone- or thorn-like 3D decoration instantly concentrates visual focus. The striking red gemstone pendant at the neck not only enhances overall texture but creates a sharp contrast with the black, white, and purple palette, adding an aura of bizarre elegance.

The sleeve design is very special, utilizing a semi-transparent black sheer mesh material printed with clear dark vine patterns. While lightweight, this fabric easily bunches up, so to showcase its effect, I intentionally raised my arms in my poses to display the graceful drape and sheer beauty of the cuffs. The waist tailoring of this costume is one of my personal favorites: a massive purple-pink gradient bow is tied on the left side, balancing the shattered black edges along the chest and hem. This set from Dimensional Yi handles pleating and structural firmness exceptionally well, avoiding any cheap, saggy feel.

Highlights of the lower body focus on asymmetrical stockings and boots. One side features sheer black stockings printed with intricate plant ink-wash textures, which—paired with a black leg ring—visually elongates leg proportions gracefully. The right boot is crafted from crisp, structured black leather, with sharp purple and white geometric lines along the front that hug the calf's curvature neatly. Despite rich layering throughout, wearing the complete set during this Cosplay fitting doesn't feel heavy or restrictive.

To highlight the costume's dark style and intricate tailoring, I hung white curtains indoors as a backdrop, letting the dark attire pop cleanly in frame. During the shoot, I experimented with various poses, such as raising one hand or extending both arms, all to showcase fabric drape lines and the irregular drop of the skirt hem. During the fitting process, I paid extra attention to tightening the waistline because once waist definition slacks on large-skirt outfits, the upper body looks bulky. Fortunately, its elongated pattern design—anchored by composite fabric support—locks the waistline into a very comfortable position.

The color scheme revolves around black, white, and purple, accented with vivid purple-red gradients. The purple-pink reflective lining peeking from under the skirt hem works with the outer semi-transparent black sheer mesh to create a mesmerizing dark light-and-shadow effect when moving. The red crackle embroideries along the sides are stunning details—hardly noticeable from afar, but as you move in real wear, these red textures seem to spread with life. During a fitting, these delicate joints and ornaments matter most to me, because beyond an accurate character frame, details are what endow 2D characters with authentic souls in Anime-style fashion.

I skipped complex wig styling or makeup for this test, aiming primarily to present the costume's inherent charm and fit clearly. Through this process, I deeply felt the designer's mastery over dark-style elements and the confidence born from solid tailoring. Through these photos, I hope to record how this outfit looks on camera and build a solid foundation for future formal makeup and full debuts.
