The shoot took place at the Changsha ACC Anime Convention, where our team spent nearly half a day from set construction to wrapping up. Portraying Ji Ru Qianlong, Shao Siming, Duanmu Rong, and Honglian from The Legend of Qin: Nine Songs of Moving Heavens was not just a convention check-in for me, but a truly special experience.

The lighting conditions at the venue were actually quite complex, but thanks to photographer WIFI setting up professional TRIOPO softboxes on site, the resulting photos gained a clear, transparent light-and-shadow quality. The happiest part of this collaboration was that everyone held deep feelings for their characters, discussing hair, makeup, and prop details repeatedly. Ji Ru Qianlong's blue-and-white layered large skirt, combined with cute loop buns and light tulle outerwear, truly gave an illusion of floating fairy-like elegance while walking. However, because of the multiple layers, I was a bit worried about stepping on the hem whenever I moved slightly, so my team members attentively helped keep an eye on the ground.

There were many impromptu interactions during the shoot. For example, in the photo where Shao Siming and I held hands, we tried to strike a joint-action pose in real life, adjusting our sleeve orientations repeatedly so the fabric wouldn't block our finger movements. Another close-up captured the interaction between Honglian and Duanmu Rong, where backlit lighting happened to illuminate the sheer tulle over their shoulders and hands, making the transition between skin texture and clothing material under strong light look incredibly beautiful. In the photo where fingers touch, the lighting was already getting dim, but the two cosplayers maintained a restrained yet delicate tension before the camera; the moment captured by the photographer felt deeply narrative.

I also really love the candid shots taken during our break. When the camera wasn't pointed at us, we were exchanging photos, checking each other's looks, or reviewing composition feedback on our phones. Conventions always bring many unexpected little episodes. Even though the hall was bustling with crowds that day, we felt an immense sense of immersion in our small corner of the booth area.

Regarding the series The Legend of Qin: Nine Songs of Moving Heavens, the sense of fate and cool aloofness inherent in the characters has always drawn me. Every time we shoot a group set, we try our best to restore their personalities—including Ji Ru Qianlong's playful yet lonely coldness, Shao Siming's silent demeanor, and the dignity and sharpness of Honglian and Duanmu Rong. Completing a great cosplay is never just about putting on clothes; the props behind us, specific makeup angles, and even subtle gestures require constant coordination on set. Everyone's wigs and headpieces were very heavy that day, leaving our necks sore by the end, but seeing the final shots on the camera, we felt it was completely worth it.

Photographer WIFI has a great sense of camera work, always capturing our most relaxed and natural side rather than forced, rigid poses. The atmosphere at the Changsha ACC Anime Convention was also wonderful, providing us enthusiasts with a great offline platform for interaction. When the shoot wrapped up, we bade farewell to each other, looking back at the messy skirts and props scattered on the ground with a strange sense of fulfillment. Just like the quote in the post caption, \"Parting as such, the pear blossoms fall under the moonlight in the west,\" time at conventions is fleeting, but as long as the images remain, the emotions belonging to the characters, the bonds of the team, and the light and shadow of that day will stay frozen in the frame forever.
