[Kal'tsit cosplay] Tranquil Moments on the Rooftop in Sunset Glow

The most grueling part of shooting this Kal'tsit photo set was the wind on the rooftop, which blew the wig all over the place; fortunately, we still picked out several shots where facial expressions held up well. This Cosplay costume actually features numerous details: the cross pattern on the black inner top needed to be glued firmly in place to keep the edges from curling. The outer white coat's material is structured and crisp, creating a natural drape while walking, though wearing it during summer was remarkably stuffy and hot. The clipboard and pen were specifically sourced props to recreate the doctor's habit of logging clinical notes on the fly; holding them for long periods made my hand ache, but posing required not looking stiff. For makeup, light-green colored contacts brightened the eyes, paired with cool-toned contouring and slightly elongated eyeliner, which harmonized with the silver-white wig and fluffy animal ears to give facial contours a sharper, cooler edge.

We caught the golden Sunset glow atmosphere just in time, with the sky transitioning from blue into a gentle purple-pink gradient under soft, diffused lighting. The background greenery and tiny purple flowers served as natural set dressing, which, paired with the chain-link fence behind, lent an intimate seclusion unique to urban rooftops. Lighting was critical during this Rooftop photography session, requiring frontal key light to prevent the face from falling into dark shadows. This was my first time attempting outdoor rooftop shooting; while setup and packing were exhausting, the resulting lighting and shadow effects turned out superb, harmonizing with the character's mysterious, earnest demeanor. Maintaining that calm, focused presence required continuous facial expression control. The styling and camera work clicked seamlessly—standing high above in this gear made me feel genuinely immersed in the character's world.

When selecting final images, full-body shots best showcased the overall silhouette of this Cosplay costume. Despite minor imperfections, post-processing was kept very natural, preserving original skin textures and delicate lighting nuances. The outfit's color saturation looked fantastic under the light, making this a rewarding and delightful Arknights photoshoot experience.
