Putting on this Muelsyse casual outfit is a completely different feeling. Unlike her sharp demeanor in combat states, the Rhine Lab employee ID badge and semi-translucent jacket exclusive to her researcher identity make it easier for people to immerse themselves in the character's introverted aura.

To recreate the texture of the Rhine Lab researcher setting, a lot of energy was indeed spent on costume material selection and prop preparation. The semi-translucent white windbreaker jacket, paired with a black and yellow layered inner top, visually fits perfectly with that sci-fi casual feel of shuttling in and out of laboratories. The black long-handled umbrella in hand, the glass orb staff at the top, and that clipboard engraved with the internal Rhine Lab logo—every single accessory is a core detail determining the final reproduction fidelity. To pursue realism, I also specifically selected materials for the ID card holder and lanyard whose textures and color codes fit the original designs, and even tried several different knotting styles for the yellow-green laces and leaf-shaped decorations on the shoes.

The outdoor location for this set of photos was chosen on a small stone path in the woods. Compared to the high-contrast lighting in a studio, I prefer this soft diffuse reflection generated by natural light filtering through the leaves. This kind of light just right outlines the slight reflection of the jacket material while preventing the silver-grey hair strands from losing their original texture. During the shoot, the green vegetation in the environment originally used as the background, paired with the clothing featuring three primary colors of silver-white, black, and bright yellow, created a quiet yet fresh contrasting beauty in the color scheme.

In terms of selecting poses, I leaned towards breaking out of those overly rigid static standing actions. Although Muelsyse holds the title of a technical researcher, she generally gives off a lightweight and casual feel. Therefore, there is both a static, composed display of a salute in the first photo, and a dynamic snapshot of lifting one foot in the second photo. That leg-lifting frame was actually a manifestation of accidental inspiration on the shooting location. To maintain balance in this pose while balancing an expansive feel, the photographer and I coordinated our rhythm several times, and the final output effect unexpectedly possessed great vitality and naturalness, merging highly comfortably with the surrounding forest environment.

Actually, there were many arduous aspects during the outdoor shoot process. That black long staff prop was heavier than imagined; holding or carrying it for a long duration indeed posed a burden on the arms, while stabilizing expressions at the same time served as a test for both physical strength and shooting rhythm. Fortunately, the light on that day was excellent, and coupled with the photographer's highly decisive snapshots, my state in the final photos maintained its composure.

Regarding the overall feeling of this release, I think that when bringing a 2D character into a 3D real environment, what needs to be grasped most is the character's sense of "everyday life." A simple background from nature is completely enough to support the detail display of this outfit. Without excessively gorgeous decorations, the hope is precisely to convey a Rhine Lab researcher's casual state of logging and walking outdoors. It also accumulated some valuable experience for myself in reproducing this type of academic and technology-oriented character, so next time I can try several more different dynamic snapshot angles through professional anime-style photography.
