This Pajama bunny shoot for Amiya has finally come to life. As the cosplayer in front of the camera, this aesthetic marks a deliberate departure from Amiya's typical combat-ready persona, steering straight into cozy, languid at-home vibes.
For the wig, I selected a natural-luster chestnut-brown long straight style. Perfecting the blunt fringe took considerable trimming, with the tips thinned out to eliminate heaviness. To faithfully channel Amiya's iconic cerulean gaze, I wore high-pigment blue contact lenses, framed by cool-toned eyeshadow that gently elongates the outer corners. Generous sweeps of soft pink blush across the cheeks yielded a glowing, petal-soft complexion, completed by a dewy pink lip tint.
The wardrobe centers on a pure white, oversized loungewear top adorned with delicate ruffled lace along the collar and a bright cyan ribbon bow pinned at the chest. The ruffled cyan choker encircling my neck harmonizes seamlessly with the ribbon's colorway. Atop my head sits a plush headband featuring long, velvety brown rabbit ears. To embrace the Mid-Autumn holiday mood, I cradled a large pastel-blue bunny plushie—its inner ears tinted lilac and adorned with matching blue bows, blending flawlessly into the visual scheme. Slender black stacking rings on my fingers and almond-shaped nails coated in pale polish added quiet, refined touches of everyday elegance.
Shooting on set relied heavily on fluid chemistry. To foster an intimate, inviting domestic feel, we bypassed cluttered backdrops in favor of a simple sheer white window drape, working under soft natural daylight supplemented by diffused fill lights. My photographer is also my close partner; capturing that unguarded, tender, and softly innocent gaze meant fine-tuning angles and arm placements around the plushie take after take. We had to ensure the plush rabbit ears held their upright structure while keeping my fingers from obscuring intricate garment ruffles.
Amiya shoulders immense emotional weight in Arknights, so in this pajama concept, I deliberately shed her battlefield sharpness, leaning into body language that unveils the tender, fragile softness of an everyday girl. Though the session drained plenty of energy—spending hours just smoothing synthetic hair and adjusting delicate ruffles—seeing the final deliverables bathed in such gentle tones and airy aesthetics made every moment of effort worthwhile. Documenting this sweet, quiet side of her for the Mid-Autumn Festival was truly a memorable creative journey.
