[Corin cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Maid's Cleaning Duty Moment

Putting on this Maid outfit and grabbing the custom mechanical teddy bear prop, the shoot went much smoother than expected.

The visual focus of the entire costume lies in the clean contrast of the black-and-white color scheme against the toughness of the metal accessories. The pure white ruffled apron paired with a black short-sleeved dress features a white shirt collar design at the neckline, looking very crisp. Most special are those silver-gray circular knob decorations placed on the chest, belt, and cuffs, giving off a precision feel of mechanical industry. To fit the character design, I also wore thick silver metal wristbands, which look heavy but are actually relatively lightweight and don't overly restrict movement.

The prop bear in hand is also a crucial component. This teddy bear plush holds plenty of storytelling details, especially the cross-shaped stitching over one eye, along with the silver straps and armor over its mouth and nose, brimming with a gap moe as a modified combat support gear. Holding it, its plush texture creates a wondrous fusion with the mechanical elements on my body, helping me get into a focused state more easily during the shoot.

For this shoot, a pure white high-key set was chosen. White sheer curtains, a white plush sofa, decorated with a thriving green plant made the entire environment extremely airy and clean. Against such a background, the light cyan-blue wig and cool-toned makeup stood out prominently. For eye makeup, I wore blue contact lenses to make my gaze look more ethereal and clear, combined with orange-red lip makeup so the overall face showed the character's cool detachment without looking overly pale.

Adjusting poses during the shoot took some thought as well. Although this outfit carries the softness of a maid, the leather leg straps and black leather ankle boots lend a hardcore edge. The soles of the boots feature red color-blocking, creating a striking accent of color in the photos. When seated, the skirt naturally flares out in a curve, perfectly revealing the leg bands and adding visual tension. Cuddling the bear in my arms or resting it by my side served as natural ways to enhance interactivity.

A great cosplay experience actually depends heavily on the preparation of costume, makeup, and props. There were many details in this styling; just aligning the knob ornaments on the dress and adjusting the straps on the bear took quite some time. However, the final photo results were very satisfying. I feel that cosplaying a character with distinct stylized design requires not only reproducing surface elements, but more importantly capturing the state in the character's eyes. Though a maid, her lore carries a high-combat ability contrasting with her appearance, so the performance needs to feel both gentle and subtly determined.

Shooting an outfit with rich accessories indeed demands patience, especially with this prop bear—holding it for a while carries noticeable weight. But to showcase that relaxed, cozy side in front of the camera, pushing through to pose more was completely worth it. Expressing a style with steampunk or mechanical nun flavors without looking stiff is truly a test of tacit understanding between photographer and coser. Fortunately, the environment was comfortable and relaxed, keeping the whole process in a pleasant creative rhythm.

The overall lighting gave the photos a cool airiness, echoing Corin's light cyan hair and blue eyes. Although the outfit is mostly black, white, and gray, in the pure white environment, highlights hitting the metallic round buckles and hair strands conveyed texture exceptionally well. It was truly a deeply enjoyable shoot. Wearing this outfit genuinely made me feel the character's charm. As a personal cosplay record, being able to present it in a complete state with all props is already something deeply fulfilling.
