Shot Zenless Zone Zero's Nangong Yu in the studio today, featuring her Angels of Delusion design. The wig features a black-and-pink color-blocked bob with blunt bangs, paired with vivid red contact lenses that pop with crystalline clarity on camera, complemented by reddish-brown eye makeup tones. The costume is packed with intricate details: asymmetrical sleeves featuring black faux fur on one arm and a black-and-white color block with a cat-face motif on the other. A white corset top is accented by a red-and-black plaid tie, criss-crossing side lacing along the waist, and a white pleated skirt layered over pink ruffled lace. For the lower half, I wore pink fishnet stockings paired with over-the-knee black leather boots and a red thigh garter strap; when executing crouching poses, paying close attention to muscle tension and garment fit is essential.

Photographer @SharkChili chose a clean white studio, keeping the light crisp and pure. We set up two key lights alongside background illumination to achieve high-key framing, making the costume's contrasting colors pop vibrantly. Holding the prop cat in hand while cycling through cheek-poking and peace-sign gestures brought lively, animated charm into the frame. The makeup emphasized contoured eyeshadow and dewy highlights, with subtle glitter dusted across the collarbones and shoulders to catch the studio strobes.

Styling the wig took considerable patience—pomade was used to define the dip-dyed sections, and the bangs were trimmed precisely to brush the eyebrows without obstructing the eyes, allowing clean catchlights to register in my gaze. Holding crouching poses seriously tested my core strength; balancing chunky platform heels with a micro-skirt required strictly regulated movement ranges to showcase leg silhouettes while preventing wardrobe slips.

We shot for three hours today, cycling through numerous dynamic pose sets. Shadowless white studio lighting combined with these high-saturation colors produced stunning visuals without needing intricate backdrops—the clash of colors and detailed tailoring were more than enough to carry the scene. The shoot wrapped seamlessly, and the final edits were deeply satisfying.
