Pairing this Remielle cosplay outfit from Zenless Zone Zero, I shot several sets from various angles in a casual everyday style. This time, I mainly wanted to highlight the character's agile and playful charm, opting for more natural ambient lighting rather than hardcore studio lighting to present the overall texture.

Let's talk about the key components of this styling first. The short pink hair is the character's signature feature, and the trimmed layers of the Pink wig must maintain fluffiness and volume once worn. The black cross hairpins on both sides serve as finishing touches, and along with the black bow lined with red on top of the head, they create a cohesive visual echo with the dark-toned clothing. This costume boasts abundant layers: a white turn-down collar paired with a black bow tie, a primary palette of black and gray, and black straps and zippers across the chest creating a distinct techwear aesthetic. Along with asymmetrical silver star accents, it looks exceptionally structured whether viewed flat or from a seated perspective.

The sleeve design is very distinctive, using semi-sheer gray tulle fabric that is not only breathable but also evokes a light, hazy elegance when moving the arms. The jacket and strapping elements feature a matte black finish, avoiding excessive glare and making them ideal for capturing under natural light. The lower half features a black mini-skirt with star prints, paired with dark gray pantyhose stockings adorned with white star print motifs and black lace trimming along the edges. Combined with chunky black high heels, this Black stockings cosplay look visually elongates the leg lines, which is one of my favorite parts of showcasing this styling.

During the shoot, I experimented with several different states. The first three photos adopt a floor-sitting perspective, using this relaxed posture to highlight the collar and sleeve details of the upper body, while close-up selfies made it easier to capture the softness of the makeup. The makeup closely matched the character's rosy, delicate aesthetic—generous pink blush and eyeshadow brought a healthy, vibrant glow, and the gently drawn eyeliner made the gaze more expressive. Meanwhile, the fourth mirror selfie full-body shot showed off the overall proportions, with the mini-skirt silhouette paired with black stockings and heels creating a clean and crisp outline.

When actually wearing it, the straps and back structure needed a bit of tidying, especially the bow tie and zipper placement, which had to be adjusted comfortably around the neck to ensure all-day shooting ease. Although the head accessories look small, they carry some weight, meaning head movements couldn't be too abrupt during the shoot. Changing into this outfit was somewhat complex, but I was extremely pleased with the final style.

The charm of cosplay lies in faithfully recreating or reshaping the impression of a character through styling details, makeup, and photoshoot disposition. Zenless Zone Zero inherently carries a strong sense of urban trendiness; this kind of sweet-meets-cool style can be explored by incorporating more everyday perspectives rather than being confined strictly to elaborate studio sets. An indoor setting with simple backgrounds and natural light can equally convey a relaxed atmosphere true to the character. Reviewing some behind-the-scenes moments after the shoot, the overall accuracy of the makeup, Pink wig, and character essence was well on point, making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
