[Firefly Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail — Catgirl Style Log with Long Silver Hair

Bringing a set of casual-style photos for Firefly cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail! For outfit preparation, I specifically chose a creative, cat-themed adapted look. On top is her iconic dark grey headband worn over long, straight silver-white hair. The hair texture is fantastic and relatively easy to manage, while straight bangs frame the face nicely, giving the character a lively, unguarded girlish charm.

Choosing the glasses was a crucial step in this makeup and styling setup. I picked a pair of silver thin-rimmed metal round glasses, which broke up color monotony while adding a smart, gentle visual touch. Since Firefly naturally carries a delicate and slightly melancholic vibe, these glasses provided visual balance, making the overall look recognizable without being overly flashy. For eye makeup, blue contact lenses echoed the silver-white hair tones, while a vibrant tomato-red lip color kept focal points prominent and lively against a cool-toned aura.

Outfit-wise, I chose a white-dominated sailor-collar pullover top featuring grey edging and white stripes along the collar. This contrast creates clear layering across the upper body. The giant mint green plaid bow tie at the chest serves as the visual centerpiece, anchored by a golden metallic badge inlaid with a plump blue-green gem, flanked by metal snaps and delicate chain pendants. This instantly infused the cute garment with sharp metallic and mechanical textures, aligning perfectly with my understanding of her lore.

During shooting and post-processing, I added plenty of hand-drawn doodle elements to enhance the mood—white cat ear outlines above the head, green halo frames, twinkling diamond stars, jumping musical notes, and blossoms. These dynamic graphical elements transformed a static selfie into a rich, narrative photo filled with emotional expression. Random mint green and white doodles decorated the frame while softening harsh indoor shadows, resulting in a gentle, refreshing tone. Top-down diffuse lighting ensured clean, smooth facial skin without deep shadows, keeping base makeup flawless.

This special catgirl version of Firefly cosplay integrates my personal understanding of her aesthetic without straying from her original character design. Long silver hair, fine-framed glasses, a mint green bow, and white-and-green post-edits retain her lightness and refinement while adding a playful, social-media-friendly appeal. I hope this refreshing look brings out the special charm of this design!
