The focus of this cosplay shoot was on the overall contour feel and prop interaction. This Cyrene styling from Honkai: Star Rail gives a visually very lightweight yet powerful feeling. To restore this characteristic, a lot of time was spent on styling the wig beforehand. The short pink wig needed multiple layers of setting to ensure it maintained fluffy and curved shapes even when drawing the bow, and the bangs needed to fit the brow bone without appearing too heavy. The Elf ear style props also required meticulous handling, with a lot of effort put into edge adhesion and skin tone transition to ensure it wouldn't fail under close-up shots.

In terms of eye makeup, reddish eyeshadow was purposely used for a large-area blend, paired with blue contact lenses, creating a strong contrast of warm and cool tones in front of the lens. The lips were chosen with a nude-toned lip glaze to avoid stealing the visual focus from the eyes. The overall makeup goal was to present an exquisite feel with non-realistic colors.

The layering of the costume is quite complex. The top features distinct metal-textured accessories and light blue ribbons, while the lower body has an irregular skirt hem that is short in the front and long in the back. To show perfect body proportions in full-body photos, especially highlighting the leg lines, I chose a pair of light-colored high heels decorated with bows. When shooting full-body photos, the extension and drape of the long skirt tested the tension of the actions. Due to the long skirt, when walking and turning, core strength was needed to drive the fabric, making the tail hem present a dynamic effect like sea waves, while ensuring the short skirt part in front wouldn't accidentally expose anything. This sense of contradiction made the photos even more attractive.

The giant white bow and arrow in hand is the visual focal point of the entire styling. It is not light, and when shooting the bow-drawing action, if the force point is not mastered well, the shoulders easily shrug up, resulting in insufficient posture extension. To show the tension and power when drawing the bow, I tried multiple times to adjust the arm angle and wrist posture, allowing the bowstring line and arm to form an angle with geometric beauty, while keeping the facial expression calm and ethereal, perfectly fitting the character's traits.

The arrangement of the shooting venue also extremely tested the photographer's aesthetic. The purple-pink background backdrop, Roman columns, and the well-proportioned pink-purple sea of flowers formed a mystical realm with fantasy colors. In terms of lighting, softboxes paired with purple color filters were mainly used to create a dreamy and hazy rim light. Since the background colors were already very rich, the lighting had to produce a uniform and translucent brightness on the character's face so that the facial features remained clear and three-dimensional within the purple environment. When adjusting the light, we tried different color temperatures and output powers, ultimately finding the lighting configuration that made skin tones look most natural while blending into the overall atmosphere.

The intensity of the entire shooting process was actually very high, because the posture of holding up the big bow had to be maintained constantly, keeping the muscles of the arms and waist-back in a tense state. However, seeing the images displayed on the camera screen, whether it was the catchlights in close-ups or the flying skirt hem in full-body photos, they reached the expected visual effects. Transforming flat settings into three-dimensional visual presentation requires mastering the degree of every detail, neither appearing overly forced nor allowing the audience to instantly recognize the character's soul. This set of main photos is the answer sheet I handed in. I hope this set of pictures allows everyone to feel the charm of Fantasy style photography.
