This leather jacket suit, mainly in black, gold, and blue, required considerable effort in material restoration. To enhance texture under studio lights, the coat was made of high-gloss eco-leather with a certain thickness, ensuring a crisp visual look without restricting movement due to its slim fit. The inner white pleated shirt features a layered collar design that pairs with the deep V-neck jacket to optimize upper-body proportions. The gold metallic ring buckles on the chest and waist are finely crafted custom hardware pieces with good resilience, staying secure even during deep crouching poses.
The silver-white wig was a major focus for this Silver hair cosplay styling. I chose a heat-resistant fiber with fine hair strands, trimming it into neat, layered short hair. To complement the hood on top, the wig's curve was given a slight fluffiness so the top of the head remained full under the hood. The gold trim and central red eye-shaped gem on the hood caught the light prominently, embodying that mysterious yet tsundere aura of a Beast ear character. The blue cat ears on either side were stiffened with internal shaping wire, keeping them standing upright during the shoot without drooping.
The blue spherical ornaments on the pauldrons and surrounding gold shoulder guards worked together perfectly. This part utilized 3D EVA covered with leather, making the exaggerated 2D concept realistic. Since the pauldrons had some weight, I added hidden internal shoulder straps to ensure they stayed in place when lifting my upper arms or doing large stretches. The sleeve guards on the arms featured a pieced design, using wide white folded edges as a transition between dark blue fabric and black gloves, enriching the overall visual scheme.
For the lower half, the leg straps and high-heeled boots required the most attention. The thigh straps used faux leather paired with geometric gold plates and rings, which streamlined the leg shape while staying skin-friendly to avoid red marks during long shoots. The golden high-heeled boots were quite wearable, featuring a slender shape and slightly turned-up pointed toes. The heel height balanced my center of gravity and highlighted body curves, while the heels and toe caps had gradient blue paint spraying to echo the blue accents of the upper body.
As for the long plush tail, it was honestly the most space-consuming yet fun prop. The tail naturally transitions from silver-white to dark black-purple, with a slightly curved tip. Lightweight sponge filling and internal poseable aluminum wire allowed it to swing naturally with movement. An invisible buckle inside the corset kept it secure, so even in dynamic single-leg standing poses like the second photo, the tail wouldn't tilt from gravity, distributing weight evenly.
In studio shooting, a pure white background really tests costume colors. The leather reflections, metal piece sheen, and tail fabric light absorption were well-balanced by lighting. Whether in a crouching static pose or a dynamic single-leg raise, these looks restored the character's visual traits while presenting a mysterious, agile, and relaxed demeanor for this Role-playing game cosplay. Overall completeness lies in handling materials, coordination, and physical comfort—this execution thoroughly met my expectations.
