During the prep stage for this Firefly cosplay set, the primary focus was on wig styling and soft makeup. Recreating her white hair with teal gradient tips required layered dyeing and curled hold. Using a large barrel curling iron created loose waves through the mid-lengths rather than tight end-curls, adding natural volume without frizz. Concealing the wig cap and hidden clips ensured rim-free side-backlighting highlights.

Makeup aimed for a clear, ethereal feel using earth-tone bases accented with subtle teal touches around the eyes to echo the hair tips. Softened eyeliner and natural blue contact lenses rendered a clean face that felt completely natural under warm garden lighting.

The outfit pairs dark brown with light blue-white accents. A structured jacket with an orange necktie and golden chest buckle drew visual focus, while wide bell sleeves trimmed in teal added flow to hand gestures. A chiffon skirt paired with blue-grey gradient over-the-knee socks—complete with gold trim and heart buckles—balanced visual weight and lengthened leg proportions.

Props included a bouquet of light blue hydrangeas and white daisies wrapped in white paper with brown ribbons, mirroring her outfit's color scheme. Posing involved gently cradling the flowers without covering key costume details.
