This deep blue OP of peony whispers is truly one of the most frequently worn items in my wardrobe. Although some people think dark colors aren't eye-catching enough, under specific lighting, its texture stands out even more. For instance, in today's weather, the vapor over the lake hasn't completely dissipated, combined with the evening blue hour, the dark patterns on the deep blue fabric and the white color-blocking on the chest form a striking contrast between light and shade. The neckline features a rather sweet apron-like design with delicate embroidery, paired with black buttons, making it vintage without feeling too heavy. The cuffs also feature matching white turn-ups and small black decorative buttons, making the details very cohesive.

I didn't overcomplicate my hairstyle today, mainly because I felt a dark skirt paired with an intricate hairstyle would look top-heavy. So I put my hair up in an updo and pinned a small white bow on the side, which echoes the white color-blocking on the chest. For earrings, I chose a pair of simple white little flowers, which provide a slight brightening effect against the dark hair and blue skirt.

This kind of weather is perfect for daydreaming by the window. The blue drink in my hand is blue citrus-flavored with ice cubes added, feeling a bit cool to the touch. Watching the outlines of the distant mountains outside the window appear blurry in the water mist, my mind is completely blank, simply daydreaming. I remember sisters often asking me how to shoot Lolita with this kind of emotional depth. Actually, I think rather than staring at the camera and posing the whole time, it's better to find an environment that lets you relax. Just like how I'm sitting in front of this wooden windowsill today, with a blue-and-white striped cushion next to me—very daily and full of life aura. At first, there was a white plush bunny given by a friend next to me, and later it was replaced by a small figurine; either way, they make great interactive props.

When taking photos, if the environment has large glass windows, never miss out on the element of glass reflections. The cool tones outside and the warm indoor lighting interweave to create a hazy filter-like feel in the frame. Turning sideways to look out the window, or holding the cup while looking at the camera, without being too deliberate, keeping the gaze natural and the shutter slightly slower can capture that quiet atmosphere.

Regarding outfit, Lolita doesn't always represent grandeur and formality. A melancholy outfit like this that leans towards daily wear is very suitable for going out to stroll in a park or sit in a café on regular days. Pairing it with a pair of understated earrings and comfortable small leather shoes allows you to spend a cozy afternoon. Occasionally detaching from busy life, drinking tea, daydreaming by the window, and experiencing the peace of solitude is such a happy thing.

Speaking of this state of being a daydreaming human, it's actually because the pace of life is usually too fast. Wearing such a textured skirt, sitting by the quiet window, watching birds occasionally skimming over the water surface or sparse lights flashing in the distance, makes my heart feel exceptionally peaceful. There's no need to talk to anyone or process any information, just sitting quietly. This blue drink actually tastes very refreshing, and the ice cubes melt slowly, allowing me to stay here a little longer. Lolita has always given me a sense of inclusivity; it allows me to wear my favorite clothes at any time, go anywhere I want to go, and be the quiet person daydreaming by the window that I want to be.
