[Kirisaki Chitoge cosplay] Recreating the Classic Sailor Uniform Styling

Today, I'm diving straight into sharing the production log for this Kirisaki Chitoge (Kirisaki Chitoge cosplay) Anime cosplay photoshoot. To bring this set to life, extensive pre-production preparations were undertaken well in advance. Beginning with wig grooming, Chitoge's signature long blonde locks and blunt bangs demanded exceptionally meticulous styling; even the slightest frizz could compromise the polished finish. Paired with blue contact lenses to accentuate her mixed-heritage background, the makeup deliberately incorporated heavier under-eye blush to impart a healthier, vibrant glow.

Regarding the wardrobe, this classic Sailor uniform JK styling appears deceptively simple, but contains numerous nuances. The white long-sleeved shirt features a relaxed silhouette paired with a light blue square sailor collar, anchored at the chest by her remarkably prominent long orange tie. The bottom features a matching light blue pleated miniskirt, coordinated with Black over-the-knee stockings and black uniform loafers to faithfully recreate her everyday schoolgirl aura. The vintage brown school satchel held in hand served as a pivotal prop; whether carried by hand or slung over a shoulder, it enriched the composition and prevented the character presence from feeling hollow.

The location was set in a vintage-style cafe. The backdrop boasted exposed red brick masonry, a polished timber bar counter, and display shelves lined with retro knick-knacks, bathed in a warm caramel-toned glow. This environment suited Chitoge's slice-of-life persona remarkably well—balancing the refined poise of an heiress with casual ease.

The seated pose in the first photo was captured atop a high barstool before the counter. This posture required keeping the spine upright, resting clasped hands atop the satchel, and infusing the gaze with an innocent yet subtly tsundere attitude. While perching on a barstool severely tested core balance, the resulting cut turned out splendidly, with the Black over-the-knee stockings catching exquisite tactile highlights under the warm ambient lighting.

The second image transitioned to a standing pose: one hand resting on the hip, the other slinging the satchel over the shoulder, with the torso leaning forward slightly. This dynamic tested overall poise, requiring squared shoulders and a more confident, assertive gaze. To lock in this mood, we recalibrated angles repeatedly on set; because the tiered layers of the blonde wig appeared richer in profile, the photographer adjusted camera elevations accordingly.

The atmosphere remained lighthearted throughout the shoot. While standing for hours in uniform heels was undeniably tiring, witnessing the character's signature demeanor and spirit rendered so faithfully in the finished cuts made every bit of effort worthwhile. Numerous creative adjustments were poured into wardrobe details and body language, and I sincerely hope everyone enjoys this visual showcase.
