[Eyjafjalla Cosplay] Arknights Summer Water Play: A Cool Moment in the Glimmering Water

Presenting Eyjafjalla's swimsuit look with authentic summer texture by the shimmering pool. This red and white checkered Summer swimsuit cosplay outfit, paired with an outer layer of pink tulle ruffles, feels visually lightweight and breathable. To match the character setting, the sheep-horn wig on the head underwent special styling, and together with the staff prop decorated with pink flowers and dark branch-like structures, it wonderfully recreates the classic elements of Little Sheep from Arknights.

The shooting environment this time was chosen at an outdoor natural pool, where the water reflection was intense, and the sunlight piercing through the water splashes and diffused tulle created a highly dreamlike bokeh effect. To capture these moments of shimmering water surfaces, the photographer's shutter and fill light were perfectly in sync. Although standing in the water and on rocks during the shoot, this cool sensation actually made my performance more relaxed.

When executing Outdoor photography with water as the background, light control is both a challenge and a highlight. We used natural light as the primary light source, utilizing water reflections to brighten facial contours, while using backlighting to cast rim light on the edges of the pink tulle and the wig. The flowers on the prop staff looked exceptionally vibrant under the sun; this kind of outdoor natural light and shadow is very difficult to simulate in studio shoots.

In the game, Eyjafjalla is a scholar proficient in Originium Arts, but in this vacation atmosphere, she exudes a childlike playfulness. The contrast between the character's girl-next-door vibe and the swimsuit look feels very approachable. Throughout this Anime cosplay shoot, I maintained a crisp and natural smile, hoping to convey the joyful atmosphere of playing in the water during summer.
