[Nangong Yu cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero's Night Street Zebra Crossing Gap Moe Experience

This time doing Zenless Zone Zero's Nangong Yu anime cosplay, the focus is entirely on the layering of the costume and the coordination of night light and shadow. The pink and cyan bows, black glossy leather covers, and fluffy edges on the costume have a very special texture under the night street lamps. To highlight the character's traits, I deliberately deepened the red smudging around the eyes in the makeup, paired with red contact lenses, trying to restore that slightly playful yet dangerous vibe. The prop hammer shaped like a black cat in hand is also the focus of the shoot; holding it to find the feeling by the phone booth and zebra crossing was indeed very interesting. The biggest challenge of shooting night portrait is the lighting; the messy background light and fill light by the road need constant angle adjustments. When posing on the metal chair, to show the leg lines and the texture of the leather covers, I tried multiple angles over and over again. Although I was barefoot wearing heavy leather leg covers, everything was worth it for the sake of the picture effect. The night temperature was not low, and I stayed on the street for a long time for this set of photos, but seeing the atmosphere woven by the zebra crossing and neon lights in the final photos, I felt all fatigue disappear. This time I also put a lot of effort into action design; whether leaning back on the metal chair or leaning against the glass phone booth, core strength was needed to maintain balance so that the limbs presented a natural and tension-filled state. Because the costume's material is a non-breathable glossy surface, whenever the shoot paused, I felt stuffy and hot, but as soon as the lens opened, I immediately entered the character state. The black short hair paired with pink-purple highlights at the hair ends required strong rim lighting at night to see the layering. Coupled with the black cat head decoration and the red-and-black plaid tie on the chest, the visual impact of the overall styling is very strong, perfectly matching the cool-toned environment of the night street. I am particularly satisfied with several full-body photos shot on the zebra crossing this time; the composition and light and shadow are both very spot-on, vividly showcasing the details of the costume. Although the whole shooting process was hard, being able to present such a charming character as Nangong Yu through my own understanding was a very satisfying experience for me.
