[Cyrene Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Dreamy Bow-Drawing Moment in Omphalos

Shot last month, this photo set of Cyrene is finally sorted out. Back then, we set up a white temple-styled scene in the studio, and paired with purple-and-pink lighting, the dreamy aesthetic was truly rich. To strike this dynamic bow-drawing pose, holding up that large white bow was actually quite tiring during the shoot because the prop had considerable weight, and to ensure the wing parts wouldn't get bent or damaged, we adjusted the angle several times—though looking at the final results, everything was well worth it. The costume itself features a multi-layered design, especially the voluminous skirt hem that gradients from white to purple, which looks spectacular when spinning and moving, while demanding great core and abdominal strength to maintain balance.

This shoot was primarily aimed at capturing the character's lively grace, placing high demands on capturing the bow-drawing posture and focused gaze. The female photographer, Pear, knows exactly how to scout angles—guiding my focal point during close-ups while capturing the flying skirt train with precision during wide shots. In pre-production styling, the pink wig paired with starry-themed hair ornaments, elf ears, purple contact lenses, and glitter at the outer corners of the eyes brought out the divine aura perfectly.

As for post-processing color grading, it was indeed hard to choose between two versions. One version leaned warmer in tone, giving a softer overall feel; the other darkened the background to heighten purple-and-blue contrast, evoking a stronger starry sky and dreamscape ambiance. Since both versions conveyed distinct moods and temperaments, I posted both sets. Also, regarding the meme about Boothill being Elysia's counterpart, I just said that after seeing plot jokes—Boothill truly loved everyone, and this contrasting humor is very amusing.

Wearing this costume and going through the shoot was a joyful experience; the moment I wore this outfit and picked up the bow, I felt instantly transported into that fantasy world. Additionally, the last full-body shot taken from a low angle accentuated the elongated flow of the skirt and leg lines, which, paired with the floral arrangements in the background, created a very rich composition. All in all, it was an exceptionally smooth and high-quality Anime cosplay shoot.
