The core of this Wuthering Waves Hsin cosplay styling lay in balancing cool aloofness with an alluring presence. Starting with the wig, the base white wig was actually very sleek, but to give the crown a fluffy texture reminiscent of beast ears, I used generous amounts of hair wax along with backcombing, securing black accent feathers on both sides and the top. The hair ends were intentionally styled with a gray-black gradient so the visual weight wouldn't look top-heavy, and the golden forehead ornament featuring a red gemstone and a transparent teardrop pendant was the key to elevating overall refinement.

For makeup, the base utilized an ultra-matte white liquid foundation with brightening under the eyes and along the cheekbones, sculpting a flawless, cool-toned porcelain complexion true to anime aesthetics. The eye makeup was the centerpiece: sweeping crimson and orange-red eyeshadows were heavily blended, with the outer corners elongated and flicked upward. Paired with bright red contact lenses, the stark red-and-white contrast instantly elevated the aura. A true-red matte lip tint was applied to the lips, with the edges cleaned up using concealer to keep the shape defined and full. The red-and-black flame totem painted on the chest acted as a visual extension of the face; when applying it, smooth linework and soft gradients were essential to prevent stiffness.

Costume-wise, this black-and-red off-the-shoulder dress had great texture. The transparent shoulder strap design maximized the neck and shoulder lines, while white piping and golden star-shaped pendants along the hem added grandeur. The golden four-pointed star ruby necklace filled the collarbone area nicely. In the center of the garment rested a blue-green teardrop gem, creating a small, striking pop of contrasting color against the dominant black, red, and white palette. Because of the off-the-shoulder cut, mindful contouring on the collarbones and shoulders was necessary during the shoot to make the physique look more three-dimensional.

The shooting environments and lighting between the two photos were entirely distinct. The first shot was snapped inside a car with natural green scenery outside the window; the in-vehicle natural lighting was gentle, and the rim light softened facial contours, giving the gaze a relaxed, subtle tenderness. The second shot was captured indoors facing the light source head-on—this even frontal illumination was far better suited for showcasing makeup details, the red highlights in the contact lenses, and the crisp clarity of the chest totem, beautifully accentuating the garment's fabric and texture.

During shooting, to align with Hsin's character concept, I kept my expression calm, even slightly detached, keeping the gaze piercing without overly lively micro-expressions. Studio lighting ran somewhat hot indoors, requiring frequent touch-ups with a fine-toothed comb to keep the fluff and feathers on the wig from frizzing out. Wearing the red contact lenses for extended periods easily caused dryness, so applying eye drops between takes was crucial to keep my eyes in top form. Overall, this styling demanded meticulous control over countless details. That wraps up today's sharing, and I hope everyone enjoys this set of photos.
