Cosplaying Denia from Wuthering Waves this time, the overall palette focused on the clash between soft pink and navy blue. For the wig, I selected light pink long curls styled in twin tails, accented on top with crossed black hairpins and a black hair accessory on the left featuring a blue glowing ring as the visual focal point. The costume is a navy-and-white color-blocked dress, with a ruby and gold chains across the chest elevating its overall opulence. The lower half of this outfit is particularly distinctive: pantyhose transitioning from deep purple to pale white, serving as striking Gradient stockings, printed with an eye-catching white handprint pattern on the thigh and abstract white lines along the calves. To complement this character design, I wore black platform shoes tied with bow straps, and donned black armbands featuring paper-cut-style human silhouette patterns.
For makeup, the focus was placed on accentuating a doll-like quality, wearing purple-pink contact lenses, applying heavier blush, and keeping the lip makeup rosy. I also painted matching silhouette motifs on my arms to echo the armbands.
The location was chosen in an abandoned factory for Industrial style photography, with huge, rusted metal cylinders in the background, topped by rough concrete ceilings and industrial pipelines. Natural light poured in from the large window on the right; the slightly blown-out background accentuated the subject's silhouette. Sitting on the concrete steps, resting my chin on my raised left arm with my right leg crossed over my left, I relaxed my posture to showcase the character's slightly languid, mischievous edge.
The rugged roughness of the industrial aesthetic and the delicate refinement of the Anime cosplay costume created a wonderful visual contrast. The dark semi-translucent gloves and Gradient stockings exhibited fantastic texture under the strong light. To capture a dreamy, detached gaze during the shoot, I lowered my chin slightly and looked upward subtly. I'm very satisfied with the final photos; throughout the shoot, I paid careful attention to the elongation of leg lines, utilizing the height difference of the steps to give the composition fuller depth.
