The main material of this nun outfit was chosen to be high-reflectivity PU leather. The slim-fitting silhouette looks extremely slimming visually, but during actual shooting, because the material is not breathable, the perceived temperature is much higher than the environment; fortunately, this studio shoot had sufficient air conditioning. The off-the-shoulder cut at the shoulders and the fine chain decoration are the highlights of the whole outfit, breaking the dullness of traditional nun outfits. Paired with a white turn-down collar and a deep V hollow-out on the chest, it balances abstinence and sexiness just right. The high-slit design of the skirt hem, paired with Black stockings and pointed high heels, can greatly elongate leg proportions visually. If everyone wants to shoot a similar style, choosing this kind of stockings with a slight translucent gloss will yield better results than pure black matte ones.
The wig was chosen as a light golden blunt-bangs medium-long hair, trimmed with slight hime-cut layers, which just happens to flatter the face shape, and paired with the nun's veil, it won't make the head contour look too large. Makeup focuses heavily on the eye makeup, using pink-brown colored contacts matched with pink-toned eyeshadow, plus a large area of slightly flushed blush and glossy lip makeup. Against the backdrop of the church stained-glass windows, it can wonderfully suppress the heavy feel brought by the black clothing.
The props prepared this time are all very solid; the black Gothic cross scepter held in hand is made of solid material and has a heavy weight. Holding it single-handedly to pose actually tests arm strength quite a bit. If core strength is insufficient, the center of gravity easily becomes unstable. It's recommended to hold it with both hands or find a leverage point during shooting. Another retro old-book prop has very delicate distressed textures; holding the book with head lowered or gazing at the lens adds a sense of narrative to the frame. Although the stained-glass window in the background is a set piece, the effect after lighting up is very realistic.
During the shoot, you can utilize standing poses to showcase overall proportions; slightly apart legs can make the lower body lines look more slender, or kneel on one knee, slightly pulling open the slit skirt to reveal leg lines and the stocking texture. If you want to wear this outfit to a convention or themed party for Halloween, it's recommended to carry a pair of flat shoes for replacement, after all, wearing high heels and holding a solid cross for a long time is indeed a physical job.
