Shooting Yanqing, the Cloud Knights' Lieutenant, this time, the blue-and-white costume paired with the styling presents a relatively classical texture under warm indoor lighting. I chose this outfit mainly because the character possesses both a warrior's identity and a scholar's temperament; the combination of flute, scroll, and sword offers room to display three distinct states.

The gold piping and subtle patterns on the costume show clear details in close-up camera shots, while the black leather wrist guards add a touch of crispness. The lower half combines cropped trousers with white short boots, making overall proportions look natural in a seated posture. The selfie studio scene used for the shoot was fully decorated, with calligraphy scrolls hanging in the background, along with porcelain vases and a metal teapot creating a daily study room atmosphere.

As for prop details, the segmented blue paint finish and metallic parts on the flute have great texture, with a moderate weight when held that doesn't feel overly cumbersome. The scroll cover is a deep indigo blue, paired with yellow bookmark paper mimicking ancient texts to add a touch of research accuracy. The long sword was mainly used when expressing dynamic tension, where the golden handguard on the scabbard echoed the golden lines on the outfit.

Aside from front-facing close-ups, we also took casual poses like resting a head on one hand or stretching legs while leaning by the table; these less formal postures actually better reflect the character's relaxed state in private. When planning this Shanghai photoshoot booking, I specifically looked up reference materials to determine gestures—flute fingerings and page-turning gestures all affect the realism of the scene.

Lighting for this photo set was primarily warm yellow; side-backlighting paired with blurred bamboo leaves in the foreground made the character's facial contours appear soft yet three-dimensional. Vertical calligraphy scrolls and celadon vases in the selfie studio backdrop effectively supported the framework of Chinese-style cosplay visuals. Throughout the entire shoot, from costume accessory coordination to scene prop utilization, everything revolved around a relaxed theme. Rather than forcing intense combat vibes, contrasting it against a quiet indoor setting allowed the everyday life of the Cloud Knights' Lieutenant in Yanqing cosplay to be fully displayed.
