I completed the Robin cosplay photoshoot of the Halovian singer at the Firefly Anime Convention. The venue was crowded and the lighting was complex, so successfully capturing this set of photos was a true test of teamwork. The overall color scheme of the outfit adopted the classic blue and white combination. The dress used structured fabric and a wide silhouette design. To restore the character's ethereal texture, we put a lot of effort into the multi-layered skirt structure and the embellished starlight embroidery. The golden floating halo on top and the white wing hair accessories on the side, paired with long light-blue wavy hair, had great visual recognition at the convention.

The on-site lighting setup for this shoot was fascinating. The top photography light provided strong backlight, which interacted directly with the camera lens to create a dazzling rainbow flare, adding a dreamy stage atmosphere to the entire set of photos. The bow tie on the outfit was adorned with a golden star, while the white long gloves and blue bracers on the arms showed distinct textures under the intense light. The white dove prop served as a wonderful finishing touch; holding the dove helped convey a quiet, holy aura.

During the posing process, I deliberately experimented with various poses to complement different lens perspectives. For instance, standing in the middle of the venue and lifting the skirt clearly displayed the inner and outer layering of the blue and white dress, as well as the lines formed by the nude stockings paired with blue strappy block-heeled shoes. Sitting on a chair with one arm raised upward also simulated the character's stage performance posture nicely. The on-site dynamic snapshots let the skirt flare out completely, harmonizing the entire set of movements with the character's elven charm.

Special thanks go to photographer Xiangmaota for the on-site vision. In a bustling convention venue, they successfully utilized the contrast between a low angle and overhead lighting to fade out the chaotic background, highlighting the character's expression and the craftsmanship details of the costume. This look pursued accuracy not only in outfit and makeup but also in capturing the character's identity and demeanor. As a Halovian singer, being recognized by fellow fans at the convention felt amazing, proving that an excellent cosplay work requires not only exquisite costumes and props, but also the photographer's keen eye for light and shadow. I am exceptionally satisfied with these photos, especially the gaze when facing the light source and the dynamic moments captured. Doing a dedicated cosplay in such an environment requires a lot of preparation, but the process and the final presentation were completely worth it.
