[Cyrene Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail convention photos, a gorgeous large skirt hem with a pink-to-white gradient

For this studio convention photoshoot, what took the most effort was the layering of this outfit and the dynamic performance of the wig. Let's talk about the costume first: the upper body is a white corset structure with purple geometric hidden patterns and silver metal pieces on the chest, and three-dimensional flowers and metal pendants around the waist. The lower skirt hem adopts a design that is short in the front and long in the back, where the layered blue, purple, and white ruffles in the front can nicely reveal the leg lines, while the back features a large, long train. To match the overall style, stockings with white totem patterns were chosen for the legs, which echo the lines on the costume and beautifully flatter the leg shape when worn. White platform shoes are worn on the feet, adorned with flowers at the ankles.

Next, let's talk about the head and face. The halo on top of the head, composed of fine wires with heart-shaped decorations strung around the outer edge, is a very prominent feature of this styling, which, combined with the white floral hair accessories on both sides, adds a lot of ethereal feeling. The wig is an extra-long pink-to-white gradient style. To capture the moment when the hair radiates outward in the air at the scene, I did a lot of styling inside the hair strands, coordinated with the venue's blower. In terms of makeup, emphasis was placed on pink eyeshadow and clearly separated lower eyelashes, and the pointed elf ear props worn blend seamlessly with the overall styling. The ultra-long pink gradient nails on the hands were custom-made, greatly increasing the tension of the frame when raising the hands.

When shooting this set of convention photos, the overhead lights of the venue were a huge help. The site had that dark grid ceiling, and the light shining down formed dense light spots, serving as a very clean background. Because the costume's skirt hem is extremely heavy and the wig is extremely long, there was actually a lot of resistance when posing. To present that lightweight feeling of raising a hand, I needed to use core strength to control my body's center of gravity and constantly adjust the range of motion of my arms. Two photos captured half-body and full-body perspectives respectively: the half-body one mainly showcases the details of the headpiece and chest, while the full-body one highlights the layers of the skirt and the overall visual effect of the patterned stockings worn on the legs. In an environment like a convention where natural light and overhead light are mixed, facial fill light is particularly important. I tried my best to turn my face toward the main light source, which not only made the skin texture more translucent but also made the facial features more dimensional. The overall color tone is dominated by blue, purple, white, and pink, looking very refreshing visually. With this combination of intricate heavy-craft long skirts and long hair, care must be taken during shooting not to distort the costume, so every movement requires extremely careful adjustment of the skirt hem's direction, striving to present the most perfect state in front of the lens.
