[Ellen Joe cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Shark girl's Combat Stance, Bringing the Big Weapon This Time

This official photoshoot tried a more combat-focused composition, abandoning the daily lazy feel to fully display Ellen Joe's weapon—that massive shark-shaped special equipment. The details of the prop took quite a long time to make, especially the mechanical structure of the handle and joints. To recreate the texture from the game, a lot of metallic paint and color-separation processing were used. The scene utilized caution tape and barbed wire fencing, paired with cool-toned lighting, aiming to highlight the character's sharpness and sense of oppression as a Hollow Investigator.

During the shoot, I intentionally adjusted my center of gravity, expressing the heavy weight of the weapon through physical body tension while keeping the layers of the skirt hem and the black-and-white maid outfit clean and orderly. The pairing of black stockings and red high heels remains a classic element, but under a combat stance, it looks even more sleek and clean-cut. The most enjoyable part of doing a photoshoot is transforming 2D character settings into real moments within a three-dimensional space; every press of the shutter is a reinterpretation of the character's understanding. Shooting this set was indeed highly physically demanding, especially holding up the massive weapon for a long duration, but seeing the final photos makes everything completely worth it for this piece of Combat style cosplay.
