[Sweety cosplay] Falling in Love at First Sight with This Traditional Chinese Style Qipao in Zenless Zone Zero

From the moment I received this modified Traditional Chinese style Qipao for the Sweety cosplay Cosplay fitting in Zenless Zone Zero, I completely understood why she looks so instantly breathtaking in the game. The overall design masterfully blends traditional Chinese elements with modern tailoring, and the striking black-red-gold color blocking catches the eye immediately.

Let's first talk about the texture of the costume itself. The top features a structured mandarin stand-up collar adorned with copper-coin-shaped metal buttons and delicate pendants, maximizing authentic Chinese charm. The shoulders are accented with black feather decorations—an asymmetrical design that adds an airy, lively touch, creating fantastic visual flair when striking poses. The waistline is neatly tapered, paired with a backless cut that highlights the waist beautifully.

The lower half is the most striking, alluring core of the entire look. The ultra-high slit design, combined with the detail of a thigh strap garter, sculpts and flatters the leg shape exceptionally well. Paired with a Black tights outfit, it complements the overall black-and-red palette, looking both sleek and commanding. The side tailoring is calibrated just right—showcasing the leg lines without feeling excessive, making the overall silhouette look very elongated.

For accessories, hair, and makeup, I opted for short light-blonde hair with bangs, where the playful ahoge strand on top is key, along with the little side pigtail tied with red cord for high fidelity to character details. To match her persona, I wore blue-purple contact lenses, lively orange-red lip makeup, and a soft blush on the tip of the nose to make the facial visual harmonized and spirited. The amber sunglasses resting on the head, paired with iconic oversized headphones and dangling black straps, offer strong recognizability. Wearing black fingerless leather gloves while holding a custom round fan, the pattern and texture of this fan are remarkably eye-catching. For shoes, I chose black high heels, with a red-corded green-jade charm dangling at the ankle, perfectly echoing the traditional Chinese aesthetic.

During shooting, I selected an indoor setting with a solid color backdrop for mirror selfies. The front full-body shot beautifully showcased the high-slit leg cut and overall silhouette; the side angle highlighted the waist curve and the black ribbons draping from the back; the final close-up shot focused on hair, makeup, and the exquisite craftsmanship of the collar, where the contact lenses and eye makeup looked delightfully clear and luminous under warm lighting.
