Today I stopped by the Zenless Zone Zero collaboration theme store for an Aria cosplay photoshoot. The makeup was done by Linghan, featuring an impeccably seamless base and eyes layered with bright blue contacts and eyeshadow that faithfully mirrored the 2D illustration texture. Photography was handled by Huawu, who masterfully captured the subtle chiaroscuro nuances under the store's complex indoor lighting.
I was thrilled with how faithful Aria's overall styling turned out this time. The wig features pink twintails with cyan highlights, and securing the black headpiece and green floating halo prop firmly meant pinning plenty of bobby pins into the wig cap. Costume-wise, the white puff-sleeve top is paired with an orange bow and black vertical pleats down the bodice, complemented by white detached arm sleeves adorned with pink lace-up ribbons and cyan mini bows, making the details remarkably rich. On the bottom, the striped miniskirt paired with White stockings creates a bright, lively color palette. To complement the shoot, I brought along the magical wand embellished with star and rainbow accents, cycling through poses interacting with character standees and reaching forward toward the lens, resulting in immensely satisfying shots.
The Theme store visit was naturally another major highlight of the day. The interior decor was wonderfully elaborate, surrounded everywhere by themed character standees. The happiest moment was tasting the Angel's Descent bucket—the portion was generous and the packaging design was gorgeous. However, to my slight dismay, my most-wanted Bangboo bucket had already sold out, and I completely missed out on the tote bag as well, truly mourning the lost merchandise.
The entire shoot stretched from the afternoon into the evening. As the mall lights gradually dimmed, the immersive ambiance of the theme store actually helped cultivate frames steeped in rich environmental glow. Although holding the prop to sustain poses left my arms quite sore, seeing the final results made every second worthwhile. I will be curating and organizing more photos from this set later—that wraps up today's photo report!
