[Remielle cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Dual Angel & Demon Forms: A Black-and-White Contrast Visual Feast

This time, I teamed up with Qi Shan to bring a dual concept of Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero to life, taking on her twin angel and demon forms. The wardrobe is brimming with intricate nuances, with substantial textural divergence between the black and white ensembles: the black outfit incorporates semi-sheer tulle, complex lace patchwork, and lace-up straps, exuding a potent dark gothic aesthetic; the white outfit leans heavily into cascading ruffled tiers and ethereal, lightweight fabrics that billow with graceful flow during movement and posing. To authentically embody character traits, we poured extensive care into crafting the wing props. The black wings feature materials with a metallic sheen and sharply defined feather layering, while the white wings utilize pristine white faux plumage with an expansive wingspan, demanding precise camera angles to capture their majestic spread.

In hair and makeup, to unify our dual visual harmony, we both donned pink short wigs with twin tails and placed strong emphasis on eye makeup, using circle lenses and eyeshadow contouring to heighten anime-style vibrancy, ensuring well-defined facial depth even under intense convention lights. Managing light and shadow across the convention hall proved trickier than anticipated: while the intricate ceiling metal trusses and dense spotlights generated gorgeous background bokeh, they easily cast harsh, scattered facial shadows, requiring continuous adjustments to face angles and fill lighting. On set, we synchronized closely: I (in black) mostly held standing postures to contrast against Qi Shan's (in white) kneeling and crouching poses, creating dynamic high-low visual asymmetry.

I especially want to highlight the Stockings chosen for this shoot: black mesh garter stockings contrasted sharply against white over-the-knee stockings. The delicate bow accents on the black stockings and the lace-up ribbons on the white pair accentuated leg musculature and tactile hosiery textures beautifully whenever lifting a leg or sinking into a crouch. To elevate the visual tension between the monochrome pair, we wove interactive body language into the posing—such as her tilting her head subtly upward while I rested a hand on her shoulder or wrist, cultivating an aura of adversarial yet symbiotic entanglement. The complete attire paired with colossal wings was remarkably heavy, making it a true test of physical stamina and core balance to maintain postures that appeared weightless or brimming with athletic power. Thankfully, we are both thrilled with the final results, seamlessly capturing the pink hair, monochrome wings, gothic couture, and distinctive anime-inspired dramatic tension.
