[Amiya cosplay] When Everything is Over, Let's Go See the Peaceful Scenery Together

When shooting this set of Amiya cosplay photos, the sunlight was beautifully spilling over the exterior walls of the building and the lawn, making for a perfect setup for outdoor photography. As the leader of Rhodes Island in Arknights, she usually always wears that iconic coat, but this time I specially changed into a blue and white checkered summer dress, along with long bunny ears and a sapphire choker, hoping to present a relaxed and lively side of Amiya that she doesn't show very often.

The outward-pointing gesture in the first picture is actually meant to mimic the feeling of her commanding a battle, just shifted to a more cheerful occasion. The pose in the third picture, sitting on the steps with a hand over her forehead to block the sun, is one of my personal favorites; it feels like capturing a rare moment of leisure for her. The dress features an off-the-shoulder design with ruching, and when walking outdoors, the skirt hem spreads out beautifully. Combined with the lace-up sandals, the overall look is incredibly lightweight.

From lighting to composition, my friend put a lot of heart into capturing every single moment. Since this was an actual location shoot on real grass and against building walls, it didn't require too much complex post-processing, preserving as much of her original innocence and brightness as possible. I hope those who see these photos can also feel that relaxed vibe and take a walk under the sun with Amiya, bringing this beloved 2D character to life.
