This Spirit Blossom Lux outfit required meticulous polishing at every step, from selecting the theme to the final makeup and shoot. Sharing the official photos today, the hardest part of this styling to control was actually the layering of textures, rather than just piling up fabrics.

The white upper garment uses a slightly thick matte fabric, which, paired with the sleeveless off-the-shoulder design, highlights the shoulder lines. The hidden patterns and red-and-gold embellishments on the clothing are the soul of this outfit. To prevent the white from being too monotonous, the inner lining is layered with purplish-red fabric, and a royal blue wide belt is worn on the waist, forming a large area of color-blocking. The belt buckle features a gold base with a fan pattern, coupled with emerald green knots and tassels. The combination of these classical elements adds an ethereal charm to the overall anime style.

However, the biggest test of physical endurance was that semi-transparent pink ribbon. It looks light as air, but during the actual shoot, it needed constant wind or manual tossing to create a sense of dynamic movement. In a studio setting, it's hard to get a flowing texture just by one person holding it up. Fortunately, the cooperation with the photographer was seamless this time. Though the shooting process was hard work, the success rate of the photos was exceptionally high.

The glowing circular staff prop in my hand was custom-made by a friend. The surface uses a weathered gold coating, with a warm color temperature LED light source embedded inside. When illuminated in dark environments, it radiates a very warm pink aura, beautifully matching the dreamlike atmosphere of Spirit Blossom. For this shoot, we specially chose a set with wooden window frames and cherry blossom elements. The backlight and diffuse reflection from outside the window perfectly made the highlights of the pink hair very translucent. The wig strands tangled easily, taking quite an effort to tidy up, but to recreate the character's sense of layering, it was all worth it.

Regarding the character's posture, although Lux is a mage, the temperament conveyed by this Spirit Blossom skin leans more toward being gentle and composed. During the shoot, I intentionally restrained my expressions, trying to let my eyes show a clear and slightly detached ethereality. Paired with cool-toned blue-gray colored contact lenses, the facial makeup intentionally downplayed eyeshadow, using slightly heavier tones to outline the lower eyelids, ensuring the eyes looked deep under the lens. This lightweight costume with numerous details heavily tests the lighting during studio shoots. The main light source must be soft, as harsh shadows shouldn't ruin the gentle beauty brought by the floral patterns and flowing tulle.

Additionally, special thanks here to photographer @SS3-4381. Our communication was highly efficient, and he precisely grasped the color temperature for this style requirement. We set the overall tone of these photographic works in a high-key, slightly magenta range without adding too much contrast, which not only made the skin look fair and translucent but also made the cherry blossom scene even more dreamlike. Actually, many fellow hobbyists think this kind of outfit requires large movements, but I feel that lying down quietly or half-holding the prop can better showcase the character's restrained yet tense magical feel. During the shoot, the posture was adjusted numerous times, with subtle control over everything from the angle of the elbow bend to the hanging weight of the tulle, to finally deliver these few final photos.

The overall styling took nearly two hours of preparation—from putting on the wig and costume to fixing the makeup and lighting up the prop—before we officially started shooting. Don't be fooled by the lightweight atmosphere in the photos; in reality, because the waist is layered with several waistbands, movement was somewhat restricted. For this ethereal and flowing theme, one must allow enough time during the lengthy preparation to tidy up stray hairs and the direction of the ribbons, which is the most important little lesson summarized from this shoot.
