Today, this studio photoshoot is officially ready to share, presenting a Hanayo Koizumi cosplay from Love Live! To faithfully recreate this classic look, extensive care went into wardrobe preparation. The idol stage-style dress is the core centerpiece of the entire ensemble. The pink plaid fabric of the upper bodice, paired with a crisp white shirt collar and a bow tie, offers lovely visual dimension. The golden lace trim along the edges of the wine-red lapels is a detail I personally adore; it makes the garment look far more delicate and catches a soft, subtle sheen under studio lights. The pink patchwork across the chest and the double row of golden buttons were tailored strictly referencing the proportions of the original character design. A white belt with a golden rectangular buckle neatly cinches the waistline, allowing the pleated skirt to flare into a flattering A-line silhouette. The skirt incorporates layered patchwork elements—blending vertical stripes alongside the pink plaid—while the white ruffled underskirt boosts fluffy volume, creating an enchanting sweep whenever I step or twirl.

For the location, we selected a shadowless white cyclorama studio in Zhanjiang. The pure white backdrop acted like a giant canvas, maximizing the vibrancy of the outfit and subject without visual clutter. To match Hanayo's spirited, bubbly persona, we decorated the floor with an abundance of colorful balloons as props: pink, pastel blue, and white polka-dotted balloons paired with scattered star confetti and party blowouts instantly set a cheerful party mood. In such a setting, posing felt completely effortless without needing rigid choreography. In photo 1, I held the hem of the skirt with one hand while lifting a polka-dot balloon in the other to express airy lightness; in photo 2, I tried a playful wink with hands gently tucked before my chest to add lively charm; and in photo 3, I cradled the balloon while tilting my head slightly to connect warmly with the viewer.

For the accessories, complementing the sweet aesthetic, I wore over-the-knee White stockings and black leather Mary Jane shoes adorned with delicate bows. This classic combination is timeless in ACG photography; the White stockings create a flattering absolute territory (zettai ryouiki) that balances beautifully with the skirt length to accentuate leg lines. The primary perk of studio shooting is precision lighting control: soft, bright key light washed over my face to keep the makeup looking clear and luminous while rendering fabric weaves and plaid textures in crisp definition. The entire shoot ran smoothly, and the photographer did a fantastic job capturing spontaneous moments across diverse focal lengths and angles. I hope these photos pass this joyful energy on to everyone!
