This Japanese-style JK outfit was specially prepared by me for the back-to-school season. Twintails paired with a ginger yellow bucket hat, plus a white shirt and brown pleated skirt, give the overall color tone an earth-toned bias, bringing a warm yet slightly playful feeling. The paw print patterns on the shirt and skirt add some cuteness to this basic style. The black-rimmed glasses hanging around the neck and the small plush pendant are the finishing touches, making the overall styling look less monotonous. The shooting location was chosen in an outdoor park with green trees and stone steps. The sunlight on that day was great, and the light filtered through the gaps in the leaves, forming very nice natural mottled light and shadows. Because we wanted to capture that daily yet slightly lively feeling, we didn't choose rigid studio shooting, but instead grabbed shots while walking along the stairs and slopes of the hillside. In terms of poses, I tried looking back, resting my chin on my hand, and mimicking animal paw movements. I personally really like the photo where I look back, because the sideways angle happens to showcase the outline of the backpack, while the combination of white tights and black loafers visually lengthens the leg lines. The light and shadow hitting the face also makes the skin look in great condition. To capture a sense of dynamic movement, the photographer asked me to walk back and forth a few times, and finally captured a relatively natural moment. Regarding the outfit experience, although white tights have a great retouching effect, you do need to be careful not to snag them during outdoor activities. In addition, the ginger yellow hat photographs exceptionally well against the green forest background with sharp color contrast, so it is recommended that everyone try accessories in such bright color systems when doing outdoor shoots. This outfit has a very strong daily vibe, requiring no particularly complex props; a backpack can completely blend into the scene. Overall, this set of photos achieved the effect I wanted, preserving the youthful feel of a Japanese-style JK while adding some personal preferences through accessories. I plan to check out a few similar outdoor scenes before school starts and shoot more sets of this outfit. This shoot also allowed me to accumulate a lot of experience in finding angles under natural light, such as using a large-aperture lens to blur the background for light spots under the shade of trees to better highlight the main subject. Next, I will continue to try integrating everyday clothing of different styles into ACG shooting scenes, maintaining this relaxed and comfortable shooting rhythm.
