Bringing Misaki from Blue Archive to life this time, the most prominent visual anchors were the metallic geometric halo hovering above and the side odango buns adorned with butterfly hairpins, with two long twin-tail tresses cascading past my sides to flow gracefully in motion. To keep the look true to design, the wig featured straight blunt bangs accented with dainty white floral clips woven between strands, maximizing visual nuance.
Cosmetically, I avoided heavy contouring, prioritizing a clear, luminous foundation and eye makeup. Soft blush was applied prominently, paired with a matte pink lip tint to capture a well-behaved yet subtly languid demeanor. Because the studio featured a blue gradient cyclorama, the gaffer specifically bolstered warm fill lighting on my face within this cool-toned setting; otherwise, cheeks easily turn ashen under cool bounce, which is a crucial consideration during studio shoots.
After setting up the white cylindrical pedestal and the blue paper parasol prop, shooting officially commenced. The opening scene had me seated on the cylinder gently poking my cheek with one finger—a seemingly simple pose that required dropping my shoulders and leaning slightly forward to convey effortless playfulness. To find the optimal angle, the photographer guided me through several turns, discovering that a subtle three-quarter angle toward the lens yielded the cleanest perspective.
Next, I experimented with lying prone on the floor propping my chin in one hand. This pose demanded solid core strength, keeping the back straight while tucking the chin slightly to flatter facial contours.
