The texture of this Motoori Kosuzu outfit is truly stunning. As a highly recognizable character in the Touhou Project, the "literary" elegant temperament of Kosuzu is the key priority for Character accuracy. This outfit attracts me most with its bright, layered yellow skirt, which clashes harmoniously with the wide, red-and-white checkered sleeves, retaining a classical solemnity while revealing a hint of playfulness in the details. To pursue the ultimate Character accuracy, I put a lot of effort into the layering of the skirt and the delicacy of the lace, ensuring that every fold exhibits a rich three-dimensional sense from different angles. Especially when putting on those iconic round-framed glasses, I felt instantly transported into that quiet library world of literature. From the initial fabric selection to the final polishing, every stitch reflects a reverence for the original work. This process of bringing a beloved character from a 2D page into a 3D space is the greatest sense of achievement that Character cosplay brings me. I particularly love the introverted and intellectual beauty of this character. Throughout the shoot, I repeatedly practiced and pondered how to use natural body language to convey that bookish atmosphere in an Artsy style, as if immersed in a sea of books. I hope fellow fans who like Kosuzu can also feel this healing texture and let the character truly come alive in the lens.
